Advice for using phone abroad for the summer season
my friends daughter is heading to Magaluf to work for the season. can anyone offer advice on whether its better to use her contract phone (vodafone) package or better to get a sim over there and use that. any help would be appreciated thank you

It might be worth looking into the Three network as they are including Spain from April on their free roaming service although it may be worth checking the terms and conditions to make sure there is not a limit to the time you can use it in the other country if she is going to be out there for a few months.

cheers mark it might be worth just getting a cheap phone and contract from three if thats the case i'll get her to look into that
just looked and thats no use lol It's designed for UK residents who are on holiday or business trips abroad, not for extended periods abroad. |

The Terms & Conditions says you can use the PAYG sim abroad in a Feels Like Home country for 3 months continually in any 12 month period so 2 sims will cover 6 months and get mum, dad or friend at home to service the account and top up and buy the add on’s.
