Maybe some members are just upset that people care about some members and wouldn't care one bit (or even notice) if they stopped posting or went away for a while.

 Last time I went on holiday I took my favourite forumites with me. They got a bit cramped in the boot of the car, along with Christmas presents etc. Except for the one with antlers who had to be strapped to the roof of the car. There aren't many parts of the world where you can't keep reading and posting on this forum. The only thing that can mess up conversations is the time difference!
