I heard a song on the radio today but it was over before I had a chance to Shazam it.

It's a dance song. I think it was out in the noughties - I'm fairly certain it wasn't released in the 90s & it's definitely over 5 years old at least, possibly nearer to 10.

I only heard around 40 seconds of it today so I can't remember if the whole song has any proper lyrics. The bit I heard goes like this:

Ah-ah-ah-ah-on.....ooo-ooo-ooo-ooo-ooo.....eee-eee-eee-eee-eee.....mmm-mmm-mmm-mmm-mmm...c'mon...ah-ah-ah-ah-on (and so on).

Sorry, I'm not very good at this but it's driving me nuts that I can't think of the artist/song title!

I know - it's so hard to describe a song that doesn't have proper lyrics! It's not the song you found. It's not a novelty song, it's a dance song with a sound nearer to The Chemical Brothers - Do It Again.

I'll have a look on the Now That's What I Call....dance compilations to see if I can find it.

Do you know what radio station and show it was? You may be able to listen again or there could be a playlist on their website.

Thanks guys but that's not the song - it's the same genre though. If/when I find it, I'll post the link here. I have to find it - it'll drive me nuts otherwise!
