I'm looking to buy this tv, do you know if I can download the Eurosport app to the tv ?

If John Lewis have a Eurosport app as an option then you may be able to add it to the TV's line up of smart features. If they don't then it is very unlikely you will be able to add an app from some other source.

Unless it's an Android TV (as are due out this year) then it's highly unlikely you can add apps at all.

Also, why buy a set that doesn't even have a manufacturers name on it?, presumably it's just a cheap badged import?.

The TV is made by LG and has their webOS TV apps.

Thank you 1andrew1 I will check out your link. It's either a toss up between the JL (LG) badged tv or one in the LG range. It will have a free 5 year guarantee so nothing to lose really
