Really? It feels like some kind of annual event for her and her family at this point. She needs to move on. If she does get through to the judges I hope they are just honest with her this time.

I really don't understand why people like Jade and Melanie etc keep trying hang onto these pipe dreams, it must be soul destroying for them. Surely there comes a point where you just have to move on.
To be fair to Melanie, I believe she is doing her own thing and isn't trying again for Xfactor

Melanie is doing other things now. She has put x factor behind her. She recorded a song recently which is really good. She has probably realised that x factor wasn't for her

She did get a record deal with the same label which signed Gamu, so I'm guessing this isn't true at all XD
Its funny how people saying she should stop auditioning yet this forum supported Melanie year after year after year.

I can understand auditioning twice, as if you got close the first time then you may get lucky the second time. However, anymore than twice is just sad. Move on with your life for god sake. Some people devote the entire year after they get the chop to sorting out their life so that they are a better singer and look better so they can audition again the following year with the hope of getting further. It's so sad. The show is a joke. The two twin boys (The Brooks) who got to judges houses last year are planning on auditioning again this year...they have spent the entire past year traveling around doing gigs and building up their fanbase, which is all well and good, but ti's all so that they can atke part in a reality tv show. It's ridiculous and so sad.
