Arisa Cox should be sacked.
Does anyone believe she's doing a good job? She's so annoying and her embarrassing presenting skills are no better than a rank amateur.

She did seem more nervous in the first 2 episodes this season than I have ever seen her before but overall I don't have a really strong opinion on her either way. I don't think the host in the Canadian version plays as much of a role than the UK version for example - but they need someone to mention all those sponsors and twistos twists :P

I quite like her but my favourite was Davina until she took over bbots and became crude for crudes sake.
My all time favourites are Sonya Kruger and bb himself in bb Australia both very funny and its a joy watching housemates really enjoy their big brother experience. |

And the "twistos twist" rubbish that's actually what I find most annoying about her, the way she says that name and "the brick". But even the silly questions she asks the players and her final interviews with them always come across as awkward and ridiculous. Quote:

Arisa is probably the best BB host around at the moment. It's nice seeing how the US format would be hosted if the host had a personality.

Personally I think BB Canada is becoming my most hated int series..the host is bland, the house is terrible, and the HMs suck and the live feed is dull.
It already looks like we are going to get a rehash of BBCAN 2 with the boys once again dominating the house and the game...its a poor show so far but I will continue to watch a bit longer,I would not care if Arisa lost the job of hosting though,I find her interviews weak and pointless and Im refusing to watch the spin off show because last year she did my head in with the sycophancy of gary. |

The fact they make it free puts it ahead of BBUS. |

I like Arisa - she's a good when she sticks to the autocue, but I cringe when she's forced to actually converse with the houseguests rather than just read the autocue. She responds with a really forced "oh my gosh" reply every time someone answers her question(s) ![]() Quote:

News to me.Sabrina worked her butt off in the first four weeks in that house. It was amazing (but frustrating) to watch everyone under her spell, and then when Canada messed up her game, Neda stepped up. Not a male in sight, except Jon's comp wins. Looking back, the only male who ever had any serious power was Jon. Kyle/Paul/Adel wasn't taken seriously. Arlie was just 'there' for most of them most of the time. Kenny and Andrew was protected by Sabrina, and they had poor social games. Andrew was disliked from his first night and never recovered, whilst Kenny only really ever had Sarah and Rachelle in his corner. The problem was, Kenny and Andrew would sit there making 'lists' of who's going when, thinking they had the game wrapped up. Week TWO and they were mentioning getting rid of Jon 'soon' despite Jon clearly being with them at that moment in time. They got cocky far too soon and clearly thought they'd always have the numbers so continued to disregard anyone who wasn't in First Five. No power whatsoever because of their poor social games... Sabrina, on the other hand, managed to keep them around longer than they would have done had they not had her. Male dominated series? I think not! Perhaps that's why it was so successful?! |

Yeah, season 2 was very much a 'girls' season, with Sabrina incontrol for the first few weeks & then Neda in control for the rest. Also the final 7 was 5 girls & 2 guys? So not sure what the other poster was on about..

God I hated Peter as a houseguest but he is brilliant on the Side Show. Agree that I can't understand why on earth Gary is back this year when he contributes so little to it - I think most people would have rather seen Neda come in to replace him, but then again two superfans might be a little too much.

The fact that people actually enjoy Peter on the Side Show (or Peter in general) is alarming.
Anyway to address the topic, Arisa is an earth angel <3 |
