Not sure if my experience has any relevance, but when using BBC iPlayer, I attempted to rewind to see an earlier part of the programme again, and found that it wouldn't oblige- it began with the start of the programme I think, then jumped past the bit I wanted to a later part of the show. I tried a couple of times but couldn't get the part. I didn't however think to try the whole programme again at another time altogether. It would seem that interrupting the iPlayer programme either by pausing or rewinding isn't a good idea...
