Though take away the Eurovision dented episode and the gap would have been larger; though admittedly last year's auditions somewhat bizarrely aired at 7pm.

I expected the Monday episode to average 7.8m (on the DSRPG) so, in general, I didn't expect Coronation Street to be closer to 2014. It came into the week at a lower level so had to claim more 'casual' viewers to make up the deficit.
Regarding Big Brother - it's not going to find an additional 500k viewers out of nowhere; sustaining an audience of between 800k and 1m is the best it can do for the moment.
