She knows Radio 1 wouldn't playlist her if she shows her face because she's too old 😛.

When was the last time ITV got 4-6m at 5pm on Saturday, other than for a football match?
I meant to write this the other day, but I forgot: good luck with your new job, H. ![]() |

![]() The Voice has just about got its format right after four years and its pretty much grown up. Great show tonight although in some part the finalists owe something to the older demographic of the TVUK audience imo. Only one of the finalists, imo, has any hope of changing TVUK's near disastrous record in finding a relevant chart star. Will I am though-what a performance! Managed to be car crash and brilliant all at the same time. Showed his worth tonight. |

Seems odd that ITV have been running their Thunderbirds trailers for what feels like ever since it was cancelled yet most people will not know it is on at 5 pm next weekend.
That is not a time when anyone watches ITV so they are going to have to go some to persuade more than 3 million if they are lucky. Its a cartoon after all. Adults who recall it are likely to be out around then. Kids will not really know it (or care?) or be watching ITV. To give it a fair shot it needed an event screening for its first episode if it was going to do anything decent. Are we even going to see any kind of promotional push next week? if not that speaks for itself. Maybe they feel it will just fall between too many stools in attracting more than a niche audience. I would like to be proven wrong but I suspect this will start modestly and stay there. This is not going to be like the return of Doctor Who. If it was then surely even ITV would have given it a prime slot at least for the premiere. The scheduling suggests they know not to expect too much. |

Am I the only one who thinks Thunderbirds is in a good slot next weekend? BBC One are running a kids film from 5:15-6:40pm. Starting Thunderbirds half way through that would be a disaster imo. The 5pm slot seems sensible enough to me. Maybe depends on the weather as people might be making the most of lighter evenings.

BIB Thanks Weirdly, my mother was watching Miss Marple earlier on ITV3 and there was a trailer during one of the ad breaks. I wouldn't have thought Miss Marple and Thunderbirds have a natural crossover but maybe they're trying to get those who watched the originals to tune in? |

Coalition on C4 was good, odd night to show it maybe, but wherever they put it the ratings would be poor.Personally found it a change to have some original drama on a saturday night.

Superb episode of Casaulty tonight. It had a yanky drama feel about it. Sunetra was excellent.

Or just bad scheduling.
And now they are running the first one on Saturday teatime it still isn't good enough, it should now be in Saturday prime time? It wouldn't get more than 2m wherever it went, if you think 4m will tune in when it's hard to get 4m to watch flagship drama thesedays you need to think again. Nostalgia usually only goes so far. |

So for months you've been complaining at how stupid it was that it looked like it was only going to be on CITV and that ITV should run it on Saturday tea times as well
And now they are running the first one on Saturday teatime it still isn't good enough, it should now be in Saturday prime time?
