Think BBC will be very happy with TVUK. Beaten SNT every week which reversed last years figures. I wonder if it's the golden boys losing their touch or the show is just going a bit stale. Same happened to Noel's House Party, it's blueprint, many years ago.

The only explanation I can think for YBITR is that people these days just dont seem to care if things are faked if they find it entertaining - a bit like Top Gear/Googlebox. I think its worse than SITE actually.

TVUK needs to settle with its judges for a while now and not change them again. |

A shame the Voice dropped as in my opinion last nights show was one of the best live shows theyve ever done, very hard to predict who would go through and two guest performers who are big chart hits at present (Jess Glynn and Sia)

It only lost 700, 000 viewers since last week though so you would really be thinking the answer is No

SNT would be around 6.2-6.3m excluding the advert breaks

It might bounce a little to around last weeks levels, anything less would be a tad disappointing, anything more would be great- Takeaway does kinda keep TVUK in check and it dented the final last year- But for everything, The Voice is consistently up yoy and in January nobody expected that

Quite poor for 'The Voice United Kingdom' - I thought the semi would have achieved 10-11m

It had start low-ish, drop every week and end as an embarrassment written all over it. 4m is probably the level this sort of second/third tier entertainment should be above thesedays. |

Series 3 (consolidated) Quarter-final: 7.13 Semi-final: 6.67 Final: 7.14 In the first and second series the jump was even more substantial. In the second series it went from 6.5 million for the semi-final to 7.9 million for the final and in the first series it went from 5.2 million to 7.8. To date The Voice has consolidated to over 7 million for its final every year. Not sure exactly how that translates to over night figures though to be fair. |

This perhaps overlooks that its dropped week-on-week at this stage previously but still managed to grow for the final which is one of the many bizarre quirks of The Voice. The audience seemingly loses interest as the show progresses yet still return for the final.

But I think it's a interesting feature of most of these talent shows that the ratings drop in the lives but then shoot up for the final. They're often helped by people tuning in just to see the winner announced. |

IT'S TIME FOR A NEW SEASON ON THE DSRPG!
The Ark graces our screens on Monday but will it sink or swim? Could the Leaders' debate poll well? Will Michael McIntyre's Easter Outing be a post-Lent pick me up or heavier than a hundred Easter eggs being devoured by Vera? Thunderbirds returns; how will it launch? Both Only Connect and The Voice UK reach their final stage but, unlike at Strangeways, there shouldn't be a riot. I can't be so sure about Italy v England, though. Breaking Dawn combines kissing and blood sucking but will it suck in the final figures? Eurovision makes an early appearance but will it be number one in the hit parade? Whether you're a regular, a lapsed player or brand new to the game why not take part? Just left click HERE, hit 'Quote', delete the Quote marks and get predicting! Thank you to everyone who takes part in advance.

I think its funny that YBITR is doing well. Looks like around 4.2m incl +1 which is a climb from last week.
