The Musketeers bows out to 2.78 million on BBC One
The Musketeers closed to nearly 3 million viewers on BBC One.
The final episode in the second season attracted an average audience of 2.78 million (12.7%) from 9pm.
It was preceded by Masterchef, which was one of BBC One's highest-rated shows of the evening with 4.47 million (20.5%) viewers.
BBC One's evening kicked off with 4.59 million (26.6%) for The One Show at 7pm, followed by 3.84 million (20.5%) for Room 101 at 7.30pm.
The evening ended with 1.52 million (13.7%) for a repeat of New Tricks at 10.35pm.
ITV scored its own ratings victory on Friday evening, as an average of 5.21 million viewers tuned in to watch the Euro 2016 qualifier between England and Lithuania.
Over on BBC Two, an improved audience of 1.05 million (5.9%) watched Britain's Got the Builders In at 7pm, followed by 1.99 million (9.1%) for An Island Parish.
Gardeners' World secured an evening high of 2.34 million (10.7%) for the channel at 8.30pm, while Mastermind was seen by 2.04 million (9.3%) immediately after.
Despite a slight dip in viewers, Gogglebox comfortably remained Channel 4's highest-rated show, pulling in an average audience of 2.96 million (13.5% at 9pm).
The return of Marvel's Agents of SHIELD drew 750k viewers (3.4%) at 8pm, while Alan Carr: Chatty Man dropped to 1.45 million (99%) viewers.
Channel 5's showing of NCIS: New Orleans entertained 746k (3.4%) at 9pm, followed by 761k (4.8%) for NCIS at 10pm.

The Voice UK drops to 6.3 million viewers for live semi-finals
The Voice UK suffered a dip in viewers for its live semi-finals.
BBC One's singing competition was watched by 6.3m (30.2%) from 7pm according to overnight figures, down from 7.04m (32.8%) last week.
Casualty followed with 4.81m (24.4%), before The National Lottery Live appealed to 3.52m (20.6%).
On BBC Two, a Dad's Army repeat was enjoyed by 1.54m (7.2%) from 7.35pm. An airing of Bruce Willis film Looper averaged 1.05m (6%).
Over on ITV, Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway continued with 5.66m (27.1%) from 7pm. You're Back in the Room garnered 3.98m (19.2%) afterwards, and The Jonathan Ross Show earned 2.51m (14.1%) from 9.25pm.
Channel 4's feature-length Coalition drew 881k (4.7%) from 9pm. Earlier, The World's Weirdest Weather was seen by 826k (3.9%).
On Channel 5, the latest episode of CSI managed 883k (5.7%) from 9.55pm.
The multichannels were topped by ITV3's Foyle's War, which attracted 764k (3.7%) from 8pm. A double bill of The Following averaged 101k (0.5%) and 84k (0.6%) for its 9pm and 10pm episodes respectively on Sky Atlantic.
