I don't think Cheryl would be axed and I'll tell you why.

I honestly believe if Cheryl were to be axed, she would have released a statement a couple of months ago explaining she has chosen to leave, Simon would let it be seen as being her idea, I am sure she has probably been assured she will be back, I don't think Cheryl would allow herself to be left dangling right until the last minute to find out if she is back or not.

They need a older female with the decades of expierence and i think thats what lets X Factor down as they seem to only promote short term success

Its not like the public actually care about her and it is quite obvious the X Factor is the only thing saving her career

That doesn't change anything I said.

Simon and Cheryl are friends, I don't think he would just sack her last minute again, he would give her plenty of time to make it look like she is leaving on her own terms. I also don't think she would allow herself to be left wondering, only to be told in May she won't be back, as then its clear she has been axed, rather than chosen to leave, which she and her team would take as a public embarrassment, the headlines would read 'Simon sacks Cheryl again!'.

I'd say all her endorsements are earning her a lot more than what XF does. It's Brand Cheryl that's keeping her career alive

I agree with you. IF she doesn't come back, it'll definitely be made to look like she's chosen to leave rather than being axed ( * whether the press will actually report it that way is a different story however). And I'm sure the news would be announced sooner rather than later for her sake.

I doubt Cowell will want that negative publicity again.

* I was a little surprised by the articles that were printed by DM and Mirror about the possibility of her being axed and re: her album not performing so well. They weren't very sympathetic and unfortunately from a PR perspective, those stories have now planted the seed that she MAY be axed, whatever actually ends up happening.
