A late one from me - shockingly I do try to have a life, sometimes Group two was another big success, and votes were so spread across the board if there weren't just eight going through it would've been incredibly close. Everyone had their fans, and a significant amount at it, it shows the real strength of the characters in the running.

In a line-up crammed full of Mitchells, every one of them makes it through to round three, with the current head of the family, and Queen of the Square, Sharon Wa... ahem, Mitchell, coming out on top slightly ahead of ex-husband Grant, our runner-up in 2006 to Stacey. Frank, who never entered our contest but makes it to this via his short 2005 comeback, places just behind along with the legendary Pauline, always unappreciated in her time it's good to see her remembered fondly now. Lower down the list, the newest character to make it is obviously Stan Carter. Played brilliantly, he's clearly endeared himself on a massive scale to everyone on DS, making waves in the big leagues amongst true icons.

Group Two Results
01 | Sharon Mitchell – 82.0%
02 | Grant Mitchell – 80.3%
03 | Frank Butcher – 70.5%
04 | Pauline Fowler – 63.9%
05 | Little Mo Mitchell – 62.3%
06 | Archie Mitchell – 57.4%
07 | Stan Carter – 54.1%
08 | Sean Slater – 44.3%
--------------------------------------
09 | Johnny Allen – 36.1%
10 | Christian Clarke – 34.4%
11 | Zoe Slater – 29.5%
12 | Tina Carter – 27.9%
13 | Jack Branning – 26.2%
== | Aleks Shirovs – 26.2%
15 | Mo Harris – 24.6%
16 | Fatboy Chubb – 23.0%
17 | Samantha Keeble – 21.3%
18 | Diane Butcher – 19.7%
19 | Afia Masood – 14.8%
20 | Liam Butcher – 13.1%

And wow, he won Your Favourite EastEnders Character TWICE but Christian falls short in round two, it's a hell of a knockout. The Chryed phenomena attracted a lot of criticism with regards to our contest back in the day, with it's fans swarming the place to keep the votes flooding in for their boys, and anyone associated with them! It seems now it really was just a passing fad as evidenced here, I do wonder whether he really was the forum's favourite at the time or just those who were fans of the story, should Bianca have really won in 2010? Who knows.

We move forward to group three, and once again best of luck narrowing it down to eight
