If the TV has a SCART socket then simply connect a SCART lead between the two units. Don't bother connecting a TV aerial to the DVD however as it does not appear to have a digital tuner so won't be able to receive any TV channels itself.

It will be OK for playing DVDs or VHS tapes but if you were looking to use it as a TV recorder my advice would be forget it and get a proper stand alone PVR for that job.

It is possible that you might be able to record whatever channel you are watching on the TV using the SCART connection. But recording, say ITV while you watch BBC is impossible.

RGB refers to the video format being used. It is possibly the TV telling you that the SCART input is set to RGB mode. Which would give a picture if the DVD unit outputs in RGB mode as well. If not you would have to switch either the TV or DVD unit to a video mode that both support.
