Humax HDR-FOX-T2 Crashing on start up since BST clock change
peggle

Hi,

I have 2 HDR-T2's running custom firmware 1.02.32.

Since the clocks went forward on Sunday both now have the picture freeze about 50 seconds after startup, the sound continues for a few seconds then the box reboots. All is then OK until the next startup.

I have updated one box to 1.03.12 custom firmware but the fault is still present.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Did you add anything to your network (eg a NAS) or install new software on a computer at about the same time as the clocks changed.

Yes, a new NAS - ZyXEL NSA325 v2 the day before.

I've just unplugged the ethernet from the Fox and its fixed it!!!

Thank you very much Martin.

I can easily live with it unplugged as I have a Youview for catchup players, but if you know of a fix......

As you have the custom firmware, install the DLNA-Filter package which is designed to fix exactly the problem you are describing.

You're the man!

For anyone else you need go to Settings, Advanced Settings and enable "Show development and advanced packages"

Then update the Package List and dlna-filter should show up.

Thanks again Martin.
