So Carla and Nick....
I guess the writers are going to hook them up?!
I was sure tonight's episode would end with them ripping each other's clothes off after Nick tinkered with Carla's hard drive ![]() Not sure I like the idea of them as a couple....Carla eats guys like Nick for breakfast. She needs a strong alpha male type to satisfy her needs and Nick seems too weedy for her I'm afraid. |

Not keen on them together at all, Nick's too much of a wimp for Carla.

So the cougar friend of Liz is now out of the picture? Unless Nick is thinking of a threesome?

I've enjoyed their scenes so far but I don't think Carla has even considered going there. I think she was just glad of the company but Nick is having other thoughts haha. He seems to think he's in with a chance.
It will be interesting to see what Erica (if she's there?) thinks of their new "friendship". |

Thought it a load of contrived rubbish. Where do all these wierdo Buyers come from anyway? Why on earth would Carla call Nick, a Bistro Owner, when her computer crashed instead of her provider or just going back to the office and using her work computer? I thought she was dead tired after just returning from LA anyway? Just another excuse for yet another unlikely pair to start shagging.

I have been saying for a while now that Carla needs a settled spell wth a 'normal' relationship& ease off the high drama for a couple of years!! Who knows, I know Nick's a boring wimp but perhaps that's just what she needs!! |

Another dreadful pairing if this is the case
Allison King is too wonderful to be tied down to a dreadful actor to share scenes with |

![]() The writers seem to have run out of relationship scenarios so are just pairing anyone with anyone, going round and round. What can we expect next Callum and Emily

What is it with nick and older women? He's supposed to be about 33, isn't he : 3 years younger than tracy, and only six years older than sarah-louise. While carla has to be about 50.
Is it just that he looks the same age as carla and erica? |

lol Carla/Alison doesn't even look close to 50!
But yeah it seems true about Nick and older women.....I guess his weird relationship with Gail has left him with "mommy" issues or something. This is definitely an area that the writers should explore more. |

I guess most people would rate Carla about 9/9.5 out of 10, and Nick about 7/8 out of 10.. so that isn't a huge difference in their standard of looks.

I hated their scenes. From the off it was like being battered over the head with a large heavy sign saying "these two are gonna get together". It was like Peter and Tina all over again. If they keep bumping into each other in the street in the next episode then we KNOW we're in trouble!!!
Subtle as a dead whale.

Carla is absolutely too good for Nick. He's far too much of a mummy's boy, and just lacks the get-go attitude that Carla needs in a man. He'd lose every argument and she'd get bored of him within a year. But, if it means giving Carla a stable relationship for once, and she'll start shedding her reputation as the black widow and be given a storyline that doesn't involve a psycho partner, I'd be for it. Carla has a lot more potential than that, and another dramatic relationship for her would just be boring.
Plus I'd pay good money to see Carla and Gail get drunk together. |
