I know Jenny had other issues with training time and finding it harder than she expected, but I'm not surprised that she went away with a negative view of her experience on strictly - the only good thing that seemed to come out of it for her and her husband was making friends with Tristan.
I remember Russell Grant talking about his strictly experience on the radio and he and Flavia were given a track to dance to, I think it was for his for the salsa and he just couldn't get a long with it - so Flavia persuaded the producers to change the track and they got 'Dancing Queen' which for I think for obvious reasons is a track he enjoyed dancing to - that's quite a contrast to how things seem to be done now.
These new producers need to realise - it should be about the celebrity and what they feel comfortable with and they should at least allow the pros and celebs a say in the music.”
Yeah I think the pros should at least be able to say "this track is not working for the dance, I think x track would work a lot better - what do you think?" The producers can still say no if it really does not fit in with what they want, but it's such a shame if there can't even be a dialogue about the song choice/theme.
