Oh Lordy my first thought was this was a late April fool . Much as I admire Bonnie she's a bit luvvy for my favourite soap.

Aw, I like Bonnie and have a soft spot for Mel. She was really rather good in Terror of the Vervoids and Delta and the Bannermen, I thought. Read a recent interview in DWM and she had some fond memories, whilst obviously thinking that Mel was hardly the best drawn character in television history! She's certainly no mug seeing how long and successful her theatre career has been.
Might catch her in Eastenders. Don't really do the soaps, but like Karl Howman and I believe he's coming back soon!

Nothing will induce me to watch 'enders, but I'm a bit of a Bonny fan. By far the best of four Spamalot Ladies of the Lake that I've seen. I'd forgotten Mel. Can't believe she was nearly thirty years ago.

I didn't find her unbearable in Doctor Who TBH, but I haven't seen many of her episodes.
