Slight bit of silliness. They really need to stop giving Arthur running jokes because they tend to resemble lead balloons. Despite that, the historical curator was good fun and rightly pointed out to Arthur that Napoleon is a really rubbish role model.

Cara actually works quite well on Darwin. I'm disappointed that Dennis seems to have been reduced to an incompetent blowhard. Especially since I quite enjoy seeing him slap Mo down. Jac knowing the trick was a moment of brilliance.

To be honest, I think the Serena/Jason storyline is starting to get a bit boring and repetitive. How many times does Henrik have to swoop in and save the day?

Holby being political just like Casualty used to be! I was expecting Serena to stand down from deputy CEO at the end.

Nice little mention of Mr T although it would have been better to have seen him especially as he's been needed a few weeks ago. Mo and now Cara the start of the tide turning against Sir Dennis who I think Jac might have to do one of her Ice Queen power moves to get rid of him. Her mentioning at the end that she knows everything happening on her ward including knowing about the sleep apnea and that Sir Dennis is not a 'good egg' especially as she was caught off guard when he finally revealed that he had been out of theartre for five years.

It is nice to have some humour in an essentially serious programme every now and again. Some shouldn't take things so seriously!

Last night gave me hope for Diggers. Better be ok!!!!!!

I have hope for him, too, partially because of every time I hear Nick Robinson on the radio who has made tremendous progress.

I think whatever happens, the writers are being very cruel. They know Diggers is a well loved character. If he dies many viewers will be upset, if he lives (which we are hoping for) then they have been playing with our emotions and that's nasty.

I also hope they split him and Morven up because I find her dull and irritating and just not right for him.

I agree Collins! I definitely think it was a red herring. Particularly because Serena's speech about junior doctors and nurses (and in fact the whole awards ceremony) had no real context.

I'm still much more inclined to think that Digby will meet a tragic end, partly because everyone has been so positive since last week and also due to the ongoing storyline with Morven's dad which I still think is related. However, I have a tiny bit more hope now that I might be wrong! Ideally I'd like to see Digby leave with Chantelle, but I know that is highly unlikely!

I love humour in the show. Hence, I love Hannsen, Sacha, Jac's sarcasm, Ollie generally and Digby and Dom. I think there is plenty of genuine humour in Holby and that's part of the reason I watch.

Humour can be completely subjective. I don't personally find playing pranks on a newcomer which could potentially get them in trouble with their superior to be particularly funny, but each to their own. Either way, whether it was humorous or not, that's not what I was commenting on. I was commenting on the fact that it wasn't particularly nice and it was also out of character for both Ollie and Zosia.

Ollie so clearly taking Sir Dennis' part over Mo's, after only knowing him for a few weeks, is also out of character. That was the point of my post.

I liked the bit of fun that Darwin staff had with Cara. Zosia and Ollie were like two giggling teenagers which is lovely!! It's so nice to see them having fun, it's like Ollie is getting back to his old self which is good!!! Happy Ollie is much better than sad Ollie!!

I don't think Ollie wants to get involved with the Denis and Mo clash, at the end of the day Denis is Ollies superior too!! I do think he will back Mo properly next week though!!

I too would love to see Chantelle come back for Arthur but it's about as likely as Joseph coming back for Jac, now, unfortunately

When Hanssen was talking to Jason on the roof, and said 'we have to be compassionate towards them' I heard that as Hanssen likening himself to Jason i.e. autistic. Did anyone else see it that way?

Last week, Dominic actually mentioned Jeremy Hunt by name. I was surprised to see the BBC being prepared to do that, but I'm glad they did.

Joseph is less likely because he got married offscreen. Arthur and Chantelle could still end up together even if Lauren Drummond doesn't come back - they could do something similar to how they did it with Luc and Eddi, where Luc left with the intention of finding her even though Eddi hadn't actually returned onscreen.

Lauren is still in touch with the cast and has been out recently with a few of them the to something but as much as we'd like the two of them to get back together the way they left it between the two of them they are not going to get together. Her returning for his funeral if he does die could easily happen.

Joseph is unlikely because Luke Roberts is mainly based in America now. Plotwise, they established last Autumn that Jac is still in love with him, regrets letting him go and would probably be open to a compromised relationship - ie neither put the other first, that they put their children) from other partners) first, partner second, prob joint second with work.

Yes, Joseph married but we have heard nothing since the wedding invite over 3 years ago. They might not have got married. They might have split up. As quickly as they established Joseph was getting married they could establish it didn't happen or they'd got divorced. They broke Jac and Jonny up with one sentence in September, a sentence which also told us she loved Joseph more.

Haven't seen yesterday's yet btw, was out and the timer failed. Set it up for Sundays repeat.

Chantelle and Arthur don't have that history and declaration. Yes, there was undoubted chemistry and Digby loved her but her feelings were much less clear. She seemed to love him as a friend, not a potential lover.

I would love her to come back for him but I think they are very different circumstances both fictional and real life.
