Poor Diggers is on his last legs , pity I loved him and Chantelle in Holby.

Mind you did you know that Diggers also met his end at the hands of a White Walker in S01E01 GOT.

As for Mo and Morven , I had taped Tues episode and confess I pushed on pass the Morven scenes as they were over acted .As for MO I wish she would stop showing those teeth, living up to her Ofangs name.

Zosia is beautiful and a class act, love her

The title of the May 10th episode is
Spoiler
I always thought that if he was to go that he would be killed off as an injoke to another character he played! (He might have a career in playing people that will die )

As much as I like this SL I'm more excited about the secondary plot with the conclusion to the long runing 'will they won't they' at last.

Yes Arthur was the first to die in Game of Thrones. I'm with you on the teeth.

If Whittingdale gets his way we may see such shows as Holby losing their prime time slots and shunted off elsewhere

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti...-message-field

The Minister is poised to tell the BBC they must stop screening their most popular shows at the same time as hit programmes on ITV

Ridiculous. The government needs to leave the BBC alone. Don't they have more important things to worry about?

I'm Irish and I don't understand this at all. Why is the BBC being picked on like this? Why not ITV?? Could someone explain please

Take one look at the man making decisions about the future of the BBC, he has had a dubious sex life which the mainstream press new about ( and knows much more than they have printed) and they sat on it claiming it wasn't in the public interest whilst running stories about other MP's and celebs ( said press having an interest in not being gagged by the implementation of more privacy rules from Leveson and some having interests in TV as well) . Whittingdale who is making the decisions is to many peoples minds in the back pocket of the likes of Murdoch , ITV etc who want the BBC ruined

If this is the case I am quite surprised. She is a very likeable character and I think she's come into her own since they've moved her to Darwin. She works better there than AAU in my opinion.
Although it was slightly odd the way they built up a romantic plot between her and Raf over several months and then seemingly decided to drop it and move her overnight. I am sure that she was originally intended as a love interest for Raf as Joe McFadden tweeted last year about Raf having a new love interest who was arriving soon. So potentially this may have been due to a change in direction caused by

Big thing I remember him was a show with Damien Lewis, Dervla Kerwen, Amanda Holden, Hugo Spear and Sarah Parrish about thirtysomethings approx 15 years ago called, I think, Hearts and Minds.

He was one of the Time Lords in Tennant last Doctor Who and i think he might have been in Corrie as something to do with the factory at some stage.

He does turn up in a lot of things, usually looking startled.

Just checked - it was called 'Hearts and Bones' and he was in Corrie though not for long. More recently, he was in Downton Abbey (the farmer that adopted Edith's baby) and was a Warder in 'Bad Girls'.

Well. I started the episode thinking I like Bernie more now than when she started. I probably still do but only because I really didn’t like her when she started. She was way too judgemental and way too quick to jump to conclusions with her patient. I like that Marcus wasn’t made out to be a jerk for the sake of the plot, in many ways he came over better than her. Can’t say I sympathise with Serena failing to get her ex-wives club though.

Similarly, Zosia lost most of my sympathy through the episodes; I can understand that Arthur would bring back memories of her mother but again someone is spectacularly unprofessional and we’re supposed to think that’s okay. Jac as a rarely seen authority figure…actually works quite well.

So as soon as one of Fletch’s children stops turning up once a month, another one starts. Still, Raf and Fletch as platonic life partners provided most of the episode’s amusing moments and their patient was vaguely engaging, even if it did feel like we were automatically meant to see him as in need of psychiatric help for collecting model aeroplanes. Is it me or does Naomi seem too young to be a psychiatrist?

Was I the only one thinking how great it was to see Smithy and Leanne back together?? Anyone watched The Bill?

Anyway, about the episode, I enjoyed the Raf/Fletch plot. I like their friendship and it was good to see one of Fletch's kids.

I did feel a bit sorry for Bernie but I'm glad Dom stood up to her when she was blaming him.

Yes, she's cross or at least hurt.

Basically as she sees it, she's been providing a shoulder for Bernie, confiding the details of her divorce (where she was cheated on) and feels betrayed or used as Bernie has never told her that she'd been having an affair, so basically the one at fault.

That's how i took it anyway.

Given how Zosia is currently reacting, perhaps Guy and Anya were right in assuming that she wouldn't be able to cope so they should conceal how serious the prognosis was so she'd stay at University rather than abandoning her studies and coming home?

Yeah, cross apparently because Bernie had not been honest with her when they were bonding over failed marriage stories. Totally out of character for Serena to react so immaturely but par for the course with character continuity these days. Shame really because I thought the friendship had great potential.
Brilliant actress playing Bernie I think.

Bernie had lied to her.

I think Bernie is an unlikeable character.

Zosia has Bipola so she will react a bit different from everyone else. I though she was great fab actress. Sometimes things do make people snap!! Given Arthur's cancer and what she went through with her mother, she puts up guard where she blocks out feelings. But Ollie was pushing her for her to open up as bottling up does nobody any good. Ollie was great with her totally supportive and committed!!
Loved jac she is brill.
Like the RAF and Fletch story, although I did feel that they could have focussed a bit more on Darwin.

I thought Serena's reaction to Bernie was two-fold. First she didn't like being lied to (by omission) and secondly as the one who was cheated on in her marriage she was disappointed that Bernie was a cheater herself. I also thought she reacted slightly to the fact that Bernie cheated with a woman, not a man, but I could be doing her a disservice there.

The Raf/Fletch situation was funny but highlights the fact that Raf really does need to get a life for himself.

I felt for Zosia but wanted to throttle her when she kept avoiding Arthur. She really is quite immature. Loved Ollie being cruel to be kind with her. Jac's role seems smaller and smaller these days but she's great with whatever she gets.

A good episode, I thought.

Jac's role definitely seems to be getting smaller and smaller. It is quite similar to Hansen's role now in that she is like an all seeing eye on Darwin, doesn't need to appear in too many scenes, but still steals the show whenever she does appear. I would imagine they have been quite happy to facilitate Rosie Marcel with less working hours now that she has a young child .
