Yes, that's my take on it too. Plus if she gets pregnant again they need to be prepared for that by not having her centre stage as much. I do miss her though

I actually thought a few weeks ago that Rosie might already be pregnant again, but it could just have been what they had her wearing in that episode. Given how far Holby is filmed in advance I would presume we would have heard about it already it if she was.

Often thought that it would have made sense to have kept her in an off screen relationship given that the easiest way to write her out and in again would be if Jac was also pregnant and took another period of maternity leave. She hasn't had any relationship type scenes since her return anyway, so it could easily have been done.

Yes, from that point of view it would make sense to have kept her with Jonny although personally I am glad they split up, he was never good enough for her (not for being a nurse, for being an inconsiderate, selfish, judgemental boor) - am just watching him and Bonnie be completely nasty and unprofessional to Jac on RTE and it's making my blood boil.

Maybe they want to keep Jac relationship free as part of the Ice Queen facade but I think they need to start showing her interacting properly with people again.

I agree. We haven't even had a Sacha scene in ages. Not since she's come back!! I don't see why we couldn't see more of an interaction with Serena and Bernie, for example. I do like her interactions with Ollie and Zosia, but as staff who she supervises these interactions can only go so far.

I didn't see Jonny as a long term life partner for her either. I didn't mind him as a character in the end though (although I agree that he was vile to her in the Bonnie period.) There was no comparison with the Joseph dynamic, though. I think that that is definitely intended to be end game for her. Still can't really understand why they went to the bother of pasting that all together last Spring, only to break them up so flippantly only a few months later, though. When they went to that bother it would have been a useful plot device for the purposes of another maternity leave at the very least.

We are long overdue some Jac/Sacha scenes!! I would love to see Emma again, too.

I love her scenes with Hanssen as well, and it would be nice to see her interacting with Ric as an equal as he treated her (not always without reason!) like the dirt on his shoe for years.

Basically, we need more Jac!!!

Yes, that is what i've always said too, had a little rant about it over on the Jac thread a couple of weeks ago.

Given that my prediction of the break up having left her more bitter hasn't (thankfully) come true and they aren't involving her in new romances (again thankfully) I really don't see what they had to gain by splitting her and Jonny up off screen. Of course they could have forseen a problems with the actor having left so no possible appearances but he doesn't actually need to appear to be mentioned and given how private and insular Jac is, she is unlikely to be talking about her partner much anyway so a very occasional mention to Mo or Ollie or just an end of a telephone conversation would have been enough. And it would have made for a very quick and simple way to write her out if Rosie does fall pregnant, she and Jonny have gone for baby number 2.

If, in the fullness of time, they did decide to get her a new on screen love interest, they could have just slipped a one sentence reference to them having broken up then, as they did in September. Or shown her be conflicted about being attracted to somebody else and having to choose between them, which would surely have increased the conflict and drama.

I think that Rosie always felt that Jac becoming a mother in the first place was a mistake and so I think she would be very much against Jac having a second child. So from that point of view it does not matter if Jac and Jonny are together or not.

As for Rosie herself I imagine that if she were to become pregnant again they would just hide it on screen and then write her out as going on a lecturing tour to the States, or some such thing.

I see in spoilers for the next couple of weeks that
Spoiler
it looks like Arthur gets bad news about his cancer, as we suspected He and Morven
Spoiler
get married anyway

However
Spoiler
it looks like through Austin he might get the offer of a place on new trials in Australia. I wonder if this is how he is written out and maybe, just maybe he doesn't die??? That would be good and would leave the door open for a return at some point, if Rob wanted. But what would happen to Morven then?? Would she go too?? Who's funeral would they have been taping then??

I'm still afraid Arthur will die, though

5 days 'T'ill 'T'he next episode Love the new trailer! Also former Herzig patient Lexy is back next week.

Dawin
[SPOILERS]Just to add to the Cara leaving theory (which I think is right she doesn't/didn't seem to be used much). The new F1 will be on Dawin (Lucinda Dryzek posted a pic of her in navy scrubs). There's an upcoming inside soap article with Camilla next Tuesday (her break up with Ollie? break down? extended leave?). [/SPOILERS]

AAU
Spoiler
I've posted before that Bernie was moving to AAU but after Serena's mistake next week it looks like she'll takeover Clinical Lead from her. It also appears the Jemma has extended her contract as it was announced that she would be joining for 6 months, starting filming in September and it's now May and Chatherine was filming with her yesterday.

The BIG one!
Spoiler
John Michie has posted a pic of him on a location shoot with Rosie (looks like a hotel) but there's a third person in it Tom Chambers!

It certainly does look like HC is going to be be very emotional over the next coming weeks.
It will be interesting to see how Zosia character is going to react I think she will have a breakdown or bipolar relapse, Camila is a brilliant actress and I am looking forward to seeing how it all plays out. I am sad that it looks like her Ollie split up, but I do think and hope it's just a blip!!!! I think that they are so good together. I think Ollie will be there for her through the hard times ahead when she possibly looses Arthur.

I think Bernie and Serena working on AAU will be fab together I like them too!!

I think so too because the B SL is going to end up 'happy' in the end.

I think it is very much going to be a big episode personal staff wise with little POW stuff. A transitional episode I suspect for Mo, Mr T, Serena, Digby and Morven.

Yep, as I thought a few weeks ago, they've made Austin sick as well as a double bluff - Austin was presented as almost certainly going to die whilst Arthur's prognosis was good but in fact, Arthur will die and Austin survive.

Poor Serena, not her fault her car was broken into but you should never leave anything work related out of your sight when away from the Office. Indeed, should it even be allowed off Hospital grounds if it contains patient records? I'd have thought there would be rules in place about that.
