I agree. I actually thought all three of them were written slightly out of character in that episode.

I feel that they tend to jump all over the place with Guy's character. One minute he is completely awful. Then he's not so bad after all and clearly has a heart. Then the next week he is awful again!

For example, he was deliberately trying to cause problems between Ollie and Zosia the week she dumped him. In fact, he pretty much instigated the whole argument. Then the week after he seemed to be genuinely attempting to resolve things between them which just didn't fit with what had gone before.

Lot of the staff behaved unproffesionally in last nights episode, it is showing the affects of when someone that is close to you, whom you love and respect is dying. They way people cope with it, Sasha is quite calm and probably what you need in that situation. Zosia is a mess and quite scary with Cara, sort of fatal attraction type of scene. Dom wants to keep busy and not think about his best mate is Dying. There friendship is one i will miss the most.

Yeah. It was always the three of them up since Zosia moved to Darwin it is the two of them and it developed into a mature relationship, whereas the trio were in their party hardy faze when together u till Zosias breakdown.

Ah thank you. It is really simple haunting music. I couldn't quite hear what Arthur said about it in the episode. Even though I turned the volume up to 90 and must have deafened the neighbours!

Last autumn I had the volume up to 100 when watching dr who, trying to understand Peter capaldi. And I'm not that old and in all other aspects of life not deaf at all!

I tried to identify it with Shazam but it failed. Maybe Shazam is better with pop music?

Did anyone see the trailer just before EE tonight? Looks like a real tearjerker next week.

Yes - but it's left very open ended as to the outcome.

Napoleon went to Elba - and then he came back for one more go. Or will Diggers meet his Waterloo.

It looks very much like Arthur's Waterloo to me

I assume you don't like using subtitles? I find them very useful with some programmes, especially where actors mumble, or where there are "atmospheric" outdoor scenes where the director knows what the actors are saying (because he has the script) but the audience doesn't.

I am not sure re next week. I am pretty sure that they will either kill Digby off in that episode or have him and Morven leave to go travelling for his final months. At the moment I am slightly swayed towards the latter.

If they go for the latter then I think they will either have him die off screen in a few months, or alternatively Rob and Ellie may have pre recorded some final scenes which will be shown in a few months.

We are still being told that he has several months left. I am slightly inclined to think that if they were going to do the sudden decline, they wouldn't have had Zosia improve his condition with the stent last week and would have done that then.

In many ways I think that it would be a little bit of a cop out to kill Digby offscreen, especially given the build up over the last few months, but I am not really sure how they would fit a gradual decline into the storyline structure of Holby.

I think he will die next week. They have never been coy about that before. It has been so fast. Although, Tara is the only big death recently that was illness and that went on a long time.

I would have thought that originally, but it just doesn't seem to fit with
Spoiler
him being discharged at the start of next week's episode. Surely if he were to deteriorate that quickly they would know in advance and wouldn't release him, or allow him to consider going abroad travelling

In addition I can't really understand them having that happen so quickly after last week's events. Unless, of course, he were to die due to some unforeseen complication following the stent operation. Perhaps he could be released and readmitted via the ED, hence
Spoiler
the guest appearance of Ethan from casualty

If that did happen, it would be incredibly traumatic for Zosia, given that she arranged for him to have it. The more I think of it, it's a route they might possibly go down. Particularly given that the procedure was experimental.

Ok FYI there is no episode on tuesday the 14th due to football but it's moved to thursday the 16th.

Spoiler
Looks like Diggers does die in the previous episode. Dom and the rest will struggle through a major incident. Bernie's husbands back and causing trouble. Ethan (I'm sure he's Diggers half brother!) and Dom's mum are listed in the credits from RT's

It's nice to see Rob showcasing his Velma Dinkley (Scooby-Doo) impersonation last week and in the next episode.

If Zosia asks you to go on holiday with her for lets say lome sort of 'Secret Escape' don't!

Spoiler
Read the episode synopsis. I think he does, so sad.
was catching up with a couple of weeks worth recently. Zosia and Oliver work really well as a couple in a way very few have. Jac/Joseph and Eddie/Luc spring to mind. They really should just leave them be...with of course the usual soap life drama. I can't think Zosia will be long for Holby anyway. I would say a year.

If Digby does die next week then it has to be something unexpectedly quick. Judging by spoilers for the start of Tuesday's episode
Spoiler
He is well enough to be discharged from hospital and to plan to go travelling with Morven

For it to turn around in the space of an hour long episode, there has to be a shock deterioration.
I would be willing to bet that it will be something to do with his operation last week, causing more grief for poor Zosia.
Either way it has to be fairly sudden.

The episode after this one is
Spoiler
called Missing you already

It's pretty clear Diggers dies next week from that.

Maybe he needs emergency surgery and dies on the table, or something like that. It's probably better than seeing him fade away or worse, die off screen.

And I'm also convinced that Malik and Chantelle come back in a dream/fantasy for Arthur, they do not appear in person, which is a real shame.

I agree that it would be fairly shoddy to the viewers to have him die off screen. Also, agree that a fast demise would be a better alternative than anymore heart breaking episodes showing his decline.

Also agree that it
Spoiler
seems more likely that Malick and Chantelle will appear in hallucinations now. I'm wondering does that mean that it will actually be old scenes we will see. It would seem to be a terrible waste to have Jimmy and Lauren return for scenes which are not actually real. It is the kind of thing soap writers usually reserve for a character who has died and can't feasibly make a guest appearance any other way an example being Pat in EE recently

Just read a spoiler regarding that.
Spoiler
Apparently Arthur talks to Malick on Skype. Not sure about Chantelle though. I'm leaning towards her appearing in his hallucinations.

From the very reliable wikipedia. sooo ther's NOT going to be a big power battle coming soon!

Spoiler
Connie will be moving back to Dawin to become 'Medical Director of Holby' and Co-Clinical Lead of Dawin.

So that must mean that one of the political power consultans* will be leaving? It has to be Hanssen or Guy as;
*Catherine and Jemma (who must have enjoyed working on Holby and extened her contract) have been posting pics of themselves on twitter (I get the feeling that the producers want us to 'ship' them I just want them to be good friends like Fetch and Raf)
Mo/Chizzy Also pics on twitter from the set with *Rosie, there would be no way Connie would be Co lead with her and I think Mo is up the duff with Mr T's sprog, Ben got his blue tick soon after his last episode and the Holby peole are very good at getting theirs when they join as main cast members unlike Casualty.
*Ric it's been a few months so is due another sabbatical but will be back.
Sacha fills Elliots place in the hospital.

I have looked on wiki and can't see this anywhere. Although I could be missing something.

I didn't even know there had been any suggestion of this move happening, by either show. Am I completely behind the times on this?

I am also convinced that Mo is pregnant with Mr T's baby and I forsee an early arrival at Christmas or New Year!

Spoiler
Someone on twitter a while back said about Amanda returning to Holby and she tweeted back saying something like "who do you know" or "who have you been speaking to", it was mentioned on the Casualty thread as well

There is no reference for that happening so not sure how true it is.

I wouldn't mind it if it did though.
Spoiler
Connie is Casualty does not work imo, she is not herself at all. She needs to come back to Darwin. Plus it would give Jac someone of her own stature to spark off. And I would give good money to see Connie put Mo in her place on a regular basis

A couple of the cast are giving away what happens in tonight's episode, although most of us have guessed.

I'm looking forward to tonight's episode, even though it will be emotional.
