Jac's pregnant! I did not see that coming...
I'm betting that the baby is Johnny's. |

Jonny suddenly having a brother when we were always told he came from a family dominated by women, a brother who is also a Nurse at the same time we learn Janny are an itwem again, suggests to me that they wanted Jonny back for the storyline but Thomson wasn't available.

I enjoyed the scenes between Jac and Sacha. We don't often see her laughing and joking with her colleagues, or even confiding in them. Shame she couldn't have been as pleasant with Mr T -- if she'd talked to him instead of snarking at him, they might have been able to come up with a treatment plan she could have accepted, instead of waiting until everything went t*ts up.
I neither like nor trust Matteo. I find his entire attitude entirely unprofessional and disrespectful. I'm not wild about Isaac either. |

Great episode. Jac sleeping again with Jonny aside that is. Loved her scenes with Sacha, Their friendship is so lovely.
Matteo cracked me up I find him very funny and he has great chemistry with Jac too. Dom was also very funny with Parker. Best lines of the night: "He looked like a burst couch" and "slap on a bit of Luther Vandross and get busy" ![]()

The Jac stuff aside I found that quite dull ... it all felt a bit disjointed and bitty. I suppose it's a bit of a building block ep, feels like pieces are slotting into place with that boy going to live with Essie and his mum and Raf but overall it didn't do much for me. Mo is funny though.
On the plus side I think Morven is great at the moment ... she's gone from a character who I used to find really irritating to being one I really love and enjoy watching. |

To do a spoiler, you go into advanced reply then hit the 's' which is to the right hand side of the icons at the top of the window.

I really enjoyed todays episode, any Jac central episode is a winner with me.
Jac and Sasha's friendship is wonderful, they really need more scenes together because the few they have are always really good. Also the scene at the end with Jac and her daughter Emma was SOOOOO cute. A rare glimpse of Jac Naylor being a mum and her relationship with Emma is adorable. No Serena we need more Berena scenes.

Toilet scene. Either Jac was being ironic or she doesn't know her left from her right. LOL

The trailer looks really good. I'm still getting to know the characters but it looks like lots is happening. I think the Isaac/Dom stuff looks really interesting.

Spoiler
I have probably missed a few things as it was quite a lengthy trailer, so someone else can perhaps fill in the gaps. |

Did anyone else think that the storyline with Jac last night might have been a pre-empt of a storyline where Jac becomes pregnant again, perhaps to write Rosie Marcel out for a second maternity leave at some point?
I thought that the way they left the on/off thing with Jonny fairly open ended and the fact that they expressed Jac's clear desire to have another child, serious concern to save her ovary etc, might have been to leave it open that at some point the character could just casually announce that she was pregnant again a few months in to the pregnancy, to fit in with Rosie being pregnant in real life, even if Jac did not have a partner on the show at the time. I'm thinking of what they did when they wrote Tina Hobley's real life pregnancy into the show a few years ago. I could be wrong, but I've always thought that that was part of the reason they have left Jonny in the background with some sort of on/off thing still existing between him and Jac off screen. It's probably a useful plot device as it doesn't limit the character by her being in a relationship with an off screen character, but at the same time gives them that option... |

The Trailer is really exciting and actually it's promising that that most of it seems to happen over xmas period as it means lots of exciting eps packed into Dec / Jan.

Also, thought it to be odd that Jasmine didn't appear in the episode last night when Jac was seriously ill. Obviously, I realise that they are not close, and that in real life there might not be a lot of interaction between them in that case, but it does seem as though there has been little point in Jasmine being written as Jac's sister thus far, as there has been little or no interaction between them and that doesn't seem likely to change any time soon. |
