I agree with quite a few posters are saying re Adele, she moaned about Mo being disrespectful to her when she shouted at her to get out the way. But Adele forgot how rude she was to Elliot when he asked her not to leave the trolley in the corridor. I quietly cheered when Olllie told her to get on with her job. Adele was quite a bubbly personality when she first arrived and not a know it all.

Like RAF's little crush on HH. Looking forward to HH and Self clash think I know who will win that one. I also like Serena and Raf friendship.

Adele is one of those characters (and there have been a few in HC over the years) that constantly preach about deserving respect even though they have 'junior' jons and that professional position in itself does not make one person better than another. This is, of course, in principle, correct but the flaw is that they treat very few people with respect themselves.

It just annoys me because it is so far fetched, even for drama television.

I'm sure it wouldn't happen for most HCAs, even in Holby. Adele just has a way of persuading people. She probably turned up on the first day, her lack of qualifications were frowned upon and she was told that she doesn't understand how nursing qualifications work, and she responded, 'Well, you don't understand how Adele Effanga works.' After that, her superiors would probably be like, 'Hmm, that's a fair point actually.'

And I disagree with Kitkat's stance that if either she or Mo has to move wards, it will have to be Adele because Mo is a surgeon and a transplant specialist. If Mo moved, Adele could surely take over her position? After all, she's seen Mo doing operations - how hard can it be? She'd probably be brilliant at it straight away.

So Mo is off to Spence in Chicago for a while too? Does anyone NOT go from Holby to Chicago these days?

Also, whilst training is of course important, is it really a good idea to send the most Senior Reg off when one of the Consultants is on Maternity Leave with no indication of Locum cover.

Can somebody explain to me why Guy can't do this procedure? Surely he has the necessary experience and training to do experimental options and as the most senior Nuero Consultant. Surely an F2 is too junior to do this kind of work, supervised or not.

I really find it hard to believe that Annabelle would want an F2 carrying out her surgery over a senior surgeon no matter how highly she regards Zosia. Also she would never be leading this in the real world.
Also, if Raf really wanted to sell his reconstruction efforts he should have shown that girl a picture of Harry two weeks later. Now that was miracle work
I think this reconstruction patient is a future love interest for Raf and I predict will end up working as a trainee Dr in Holby...

I presume Ric is just on (another) long sabbatical. I do not know what they are going to do with Guy Self now that there is nobody else on neuro!! Can't see him being in the show for very much longer now he won't even have interactions with Zosia as a storyline. Actually glad she is going to Darwin. With mo also leaving for a bit I was forseeing months of even more focus on Adelle than previously!

On a general note, only starting watching Holby again once I heard about Hanssen's return after not watching it since his departure.

Thought the episode was really, really good - and has been great since the Keebo (sp) operation when I started watching again seems Hanssen has a soft spot for Zosia also.

Well i guess my logic of Zosia and Oliver not getting together because they are on different wards and they never have cross ward romances anymore is null and void - all speed ahead for them now!

I still predict Guy sticking around until the Autumn - he could get Dom on his team I suppose or just interact more with Hansenn and Serena for the Office Politics side of things and Sacha, Essie and Dom for Ward based stuff.

That rude ungrateful woman on AAU was deeply annoying - and even worse, it does seem like she will be around a lot longer. Working on AAU and possibly a love interest for Raf - ugh!!

I wouldn't head off to Chicago for 6 weeks if I was Mo, leaving her newly found dad in Adele's clutches!! By the time she comes back it will be Adele he wants as his daughter, not Mo!!

Zosia doing that surgery was totally unbelievable. At least she is going to Darwin so between her and Ollie they should take the spotlight off the super HCA for a bit. I will miss her and Dom, though. And as others have said, Selfie is left all on his tod now!! Good enough for him.

I love Holby but am finding Adele rather unwatchable and unbelievable and they seem to be turning Zosia that way too.

Zosia seems to have transitioned rather quickly from a chaotic, dangerous medic unable to face up to her Bi Polar disorder, running around Holby dragging patients off into rooms about to operate on them to a super neuro surgeon performing procedures way beyond her F2 status and getting accolades from Ric, Hanssen, etc.

A bit ridiculous and I am beginning to get irritated by the new Zosia, almost as much as Adele, Sahira and Tanya annoyed me.

Thank goodness for Hanssen, Serena, Raf and co.

It was a bit plausibility-stretching, though we did hear a long list of her experience - she's obviously been working extremely hard during the past fortnight to get all these skills. It'll be interesting to see her on Darwin, but I feel sorry for poor Dominic - the only one of the three amigos left on Keller.

So, looks like the Three Musketeers are going to be on three different wards. I'm actually quite liking the idea of Zosia on Darwin: She had a good relationship with Elliot at one point which seems to have been forgotten about in recent years. I suspect that Dominic might suffer most but could be wrong, and they do need to use Arthur more. Somewhat disappointed that Annabelle leaves as soon as her storyline's over. Disappointed too at Ric, who seems to be like one of those elder statesmen Neighbours characters that is absent for lengthy periods and not really there when he is there. Henrik is nicely professional.

I rolled my eyes at Clifford working as a porter but I guess one of the weaknesses of Holby is that with everything set in the hospital there needs to be a reason for him to be there for the relationship with Mo to develop. I didn't actually mind Adele here, her screen time was kept to a reasonable level and her concerns were fairly valid. It does seem strange that after Darwin apparently needing two consultants for years Jac hasn't been replaced, at the very least I'd expect Mo to act up. (She has seemingly taken over Elliot's old office though, which I forgot to mention a few weeks back.) Jesse's banter over Spurs was good but why does everyone on television who doesn't support a made-up team (like Corrie's Weatherfield County or Stender's Walford Town) have to support one of the big names? Just once it'd be nice to have a character from London who supports Brentford or Crystal Palace or something...

I didn't actually think Lucy was going to end up working at the hospital, I thought she was just going to be an ongoing patient. Could be completely wrong but her treatment's obviously not over and there seems to be a back story about her injury, given her admission that she lied near the end. I actually wonder if the mother was involved somehow and it's connected to her apparent drink problem. Raf's motivation seemed to be equal parts ego and genuinely wanting to help.

Yes I think the Mother injured her. "It wasn't a scooter that hit me" was an obvious cry for help. The Mothers drinking wasn't discussed, the daughter's bad behaviour wasn't picked up on by the mother who didn't seem to care, and she didn't bat an eyelid when raf mentioned the "scooter" incident.

Mr Self his going to be running Neurosurgery all by his Self. They could always transfer Adele to give him a hand. But then again I would not want Sacha to work with both Adele and Self would not be fair.

I assumed that the mother was responsible for the injury and it will come out in time. Undecided whether she'll be a Patient, girlfriend or new Doctor but i'd say them dropping in that she'd studied medicine was there for a reason. They might actually be playing the long game, giving her a few episode run as a Patient now with the option of bringing her back as staff in a few months if she works well as they've recently done with Essie, Jesse and even Dominic.

Jonny supported HIBS and seemed to know a fair bit about football generally (remember that autistic Leighton Orient fan) but i guess HIBS is an obvious choice for Edinburgh - especially as it was later established he was Catholic.

Mo acted up soon after first arriving when Jac went to San Francisco so very strange she's not doing so again now.

I love Ric I really do but is there actually any point to him still being in it anymore? What has he actually done this last time - one episode getting involved with Harry and Raf and one episode acting as a King Breaker with Self now he's off again?!

Am I the only one with a bit of a crush on Hanssen? Mind you, I have a crush on Sacha too

I am 3 weeks behind after having some unfortunate health news but I am recuperating after an operation on Friday so have plenty of time to catch up!

How come Zosia is OK now? She was on paperwork duties only a while ago and now she is operating on brains! I guess we have to take it all with a pinch of salt! Hubby is always telling me 'ITS NOT REAL' Lol. xxxxxx
