I missed a few years of Holby. I remember Ollie when he was young and his sister dying but what happened after that please and who is this that is coming back into the show?

Dated a yonger doctor, found out she was dying of a brain tumour, married her, she died, had a break down, left, got ill needed the Proffs help, is now healthy with no mention of it! In a love triangle.

They weren't t twins. She was two years older. There was mention of family issues. Parents not together both with new partners. Penny didn't get on with the Dad. Mum lived in France. Penny always said they loved Ollie and by default not her. Ollie only became a doctor because of Penny. I don't mean incest, nothing like that, they were just very insular and intense with each other... And Penny was very c!osed off and Ollie has/d a carer complex. He could have been trying to make up for what be thought wass parental neglect. Or becuase he cheated off her... But there was indications this was lifelong. Who knows. They were both very closed off to their emotional needs. Ollie still was with Tara...he basically replaced Penny with her with the added bonus of the fact she wasn't his sister. It was all about her. I never got Ollie's attraction to her go be honest. She was just obsessed with her career and he ran around after her. Guilt over Penny maybe. One big long guilt fueled couple of years.

I think basically same year... Same age in real life... Meant they looked like they probably were. They were/are very clever characters. And actually from a story point of view, the fact Emma Catherwood wanted to leave, meant that Penny's death seems like one of the few that actually seemed to have a realistic aftershock.

I don't remember that but i think it was more just that they started at the same time as F1s which implied they were in the same academic year and we're shown to be so close that many just assumed they must be twins.

But of course Penny had to retake a year due to oliver swapping their results so that explains that.

I'm still confused as to how they were taking the same exam at the same time if she was a year ahead of him at that stage though.

I had no idea that was happening until just now, it's literally the best thing that could possibly happen to the show.

Honest to God so did I. The person on the floor had a stubble/beard so I didn't think it wasn't not him.

It was Fletch on the floor at the end of the last episode but he obviously came round quickly. The episode didn't pick up exactly where the last one left off.

I knew they wouldn;t kill Fletch off, this was just his redemption plot.

That felt like a bit of a transitional episode setting things up for the end of season or maybe people leaving.

Guy looks like he isn't coping and might fall off the wagon. Things coming to a head with Digby (which is such a rehash of Joseph taking drugs for his nerves in Season 8), more seeds of 'difference' between Sacha and Essie, Serena getting a new man, Zosia dumping Dom etc.

I was disappointed with the aftermath of the explosion. It was over with in ten minutes, and things went back to normal.

I do like the new agency nurse; she was awesome in Hollyoaks.


Only if they use her better than they're using Hanssen, who hasn't done much at all since he returned. I really don't want to be disappointed, as she's awesome.
