He seemed to be on edge and slightly distracted throughout the episode. He shouted about the bag left on the ward (probably fear of a bomb) and he also was distant when the patient was telling him about his dreams. Things defiantly came to ahead in theatre though.

I hope they pursue the PTSD storyline properly; Henrik seems to be on the case.

Guy getting PTSD now after being completely fine for weeks after the incident seems a bit odd to me. I really could not care less about the character one way or the other.

The Jed SL rolls on, we get more of it next week, hope that is the end of it.

Yes I thought the same re the PTSD. I do accept that trigger events can make things seem worse further down the line. However, the fact that there was not even a mention of it for weeks and Guy was completely back to normal was a bit much. Speaking of which, we still haven't seen any reaction from fletch, post the hostage drama. Nor have we seen any mention of the fact that he changed his mind about leaving work.

I think that Holby have a continuity problem at the moment. A storyline can be ongoing as an A or B storyline for a week or two and then there will be no mention of it for several weeks, despite the characters central to it appearing. With the exception of the Jed storyline which we've seen far too much of!

Agree. I really don't care about cara and Jed. I can't believe it's going to drag on into next week. I can't take anymore of her pouty face. Her lack of reaction is totally unbelievable. Holby is very poor at the moment

I'm just curious, I understand why someone might forget to put their bag away and leave it somewhere by mistake, but what exactly was Essie doing which caused her to absent-mindedly dump it on the floor in front of the nurses' station? It seems like such a strange place to put it, I really can't understand what chain of events causes that to happen.

I agree, it makes no sense at all, just a clumsy plot device to show that Guy is losing it. I thought myself at the time could they not do better than that! No nurse would leave a great big bag like that just lying in front of the nurses station - if they didn't put it in their locker they would have hidden it under the desk, or something.

Really hope that is the end of the Jed plot, but I have a feeling it will reappear again in future. Raf was pretty irresponsible to perform surgery after being beaten up like that. I know he wanted to keep the assault quiet, but he could have just told them he was feeling unwell.

The Carra storyline could have been so much better but it just feels wet and pathetic. (It's easy to fix just buy Ms Campbell a bottle of shiraz or two and she'll be able to fix it all )

Yes, that awkward look between Jesse and Adele was clearly about the broken engagement and the only aftermath we are going to get.

An unusually realistic and unmanly whimpering from Raf there after being kicked about. Good on the actor, generally they remain all stoic until such time as the pretty girlfriend applies some Dettol to their wounds!

Well, in fairness if Adele won in a team of her own, I think suspicions would be raised given that it was her sister's quiz. Someone should write a fan fiction about that... Adele wins, and someone takes it really seriously and investigates...

Mo astounds me, she really does. She's all over the place, making bad decisions (that Jac would have been crucified for) and then a little pep talk from St Adele and all is well again. She leaves a toddler at the bedside of a seriously ill man and forgets all about him. WTF????

Cara/Jed leaves me cold. And I'm sorry but Raf crying like a baby when Jed hit him brought him down in my estimation. Man up, for gawd's sake!!

Essie continues her evolution into Chrissie. But I do think it's time Sacha grew a pair and went for the Consultant's post.

Reading the above makes me sound harsh - maybe it's just frustration at how poor Holby has been the last 3 weeks. At least Digby is back next week and Jac can't get back soon enough for me.

I also agree with KitKat's comments re the ending of the Mo and William storyline. There seemed to be so much potential with that storyline and they've (seemingly) wrapped it up in no time with Mo happy as could be at the quiz a few hours after leaving William by Brett's bedside. Incidentally, I think Mo actually was making the right decision earlier by waiting for Brett to recover a little before William saw him. William had been through a lot and surely seeing his step dad in such a bad way could only be upsetting for him. I'd imagine after just coming out of a coma a child should not be allowed in a few hours later. Although it clearly doesn't matter what the registrar thinks if Adele has a differing opinion, as she IS always right!!

We haven't even heard how long Sorcia and Brett were together, to ascertain whether it actually IS best for William to stay with him rather than going to Mo or a member of Sorcia's family! They don't develop a potentially interesting storyline, yet they drag the boring Jed business out for weeks on end!

I think what I'm struggling with at the moment is that a lot of storylines are seemingly being forgotten about and by the time they come around again we've forgotten about them eg Guy's bomb plot etc. Then you have storylines like Fletch's which are ongoing for weeks and then tied up with no explanation to the viewers.

I note that someone above also asked whether Ollie and Zosia were together and I can understand that question completely as it is pretty hard to follow! I watch every episode, but sometimes feel as if I've missed something on that storyline. They kissed, then it seemed to be off, when Frieda guest starred it seemed to be back on, then a few episodes later it was clear they had 'agreed to be friends' (which we never saw onscreen) Ollie seemed to be considering his feelings when he spoke to William about it, but now they are buddies again. Incidentally I do think that Ollie's character is being developed well and completely understand why he wouldn't want a relationship at present, but the way they've jumped about with the storyline is a bit all over the place!

I don't think the Mo and William storyline is over... because in the preview their were more scenes. I also think he must still be living with her because a child can't stay at hospital like that and he isn't getting released. So William must have gone back home with Mo.

Ollie and Zosia seem to be in an emotional relationship without the physical presumably because of Ollie and Zosia is bidding her time. Because there are hints that they are inseparable vis a vis they must have had other plans before the quiz given their reaction.They could be together and they may be waiting for a focus episode to explain everything. They used to do this in the past. Who knows. Either way Zosia is playing him well.

I think the Jed storyline is abit daft. Surely Jed has a handler which he reports to? They would not just leave him on his own. I do like Kara and Raf together, romance is never easy at Holby. Either jed or Mr Big are going to end up back in holby and then they will be another hold up this time involving Raf and Kara. Raf should really get his brother down from Scotland to sort Jed out. I think it was out of character of Raf to cry like a baby!

I hope Mo's storyline with William isn't over as it seems like a waste if it is. Didn't she take him to the hospital to Brett with his tesco bag of clothes, though? Either way I thought that was quite silly as even if Brett was seeing him William would have needed somewhere to stay. I also thought the strange scene with Mo bursting the dinosaur was evidence of William not being around anymore. I suppose that it could reappear later if Brett is struggling or William is missing Mo, though.

I have taken it that Ollie and Zosia are meant to be just friends at the moment, but spending quite a lot of time together outside work, but it is hard to tell definitively as the tone of their interactions seem to be different from week to week.

I really thought that Mo puncturing the balloon meant that William had gone but that made no sense. As pointed out, Brett wouldn't be discharged immediately, and didn't have anywhere to stay when he did (they'd only just arrived in the Country for a visit hadn't they) so William would need to stay somewhere for at least a few more days and i imagine Brett would need help for a while even after leaving Hospital.

I have no idea what is going on with Zosia and Ollie. I think they are just taking it very slowly - spending time together but not sexually. What was known in old fashioned times as 'courting'.

It's hardly the first time they've done this, there have been a few relationships over the years where it was very unclear at any one time what the relationship status was - they did it with Jonny and Jac several times - even back at the beginning after she came back from a Research trip in America and they didn't establish for months whether they'd gone back to toeir no strings sex in the cupboard relationship until suddenly they mentioned they were going away for a dirty weekend and then she had a pregnancy scare. In the past i've likened it to the viewer trying to paint a 'connect the dots' picture with half the dots missing! It's frustrating if you're interested in a couple though.

Don't worry people the Carra/Jeb/baby stuff will all be wrapped up on the 17th of november "with a dramatic concussion!" But it'll be over
