Yes I agree. There was a big focus on how he was expecting too much from the facial reconstruction and would never be exactly the same again. Part of the reason he originally wasn't ready to go to Chicago was because he needed to accept the new him.
Then two weeks later he looks exactly the same (save for a slight scar on forehead) and ready for Chicago.... Had there been a six week break between those two episodes it would have been slightly more believable but two weeks was a bit crazy.
Still I can accept it given they got the happy ending!!
I have decided that in the case of the last few episodes, that the best thing to do is simply to pretend that everything makes absolute sense regardless of the fact that it patently doesn't and move on. Harry is gone, Selfie is on the skids, The Great Giant Swede returns and isn't Jac coming back eventually? All is right with the world - regardless who irrational some of the details required to get there are....
Expect in the next few weeks for Raf to be off to the USA as a miracle worker in M/Facial surgery, and Elliot to lose 6 stone on his dried fruit diet, becoming slimmer of the year.
