Note 4 Owners - Do You Still Use A Tablet Much?
I'm definitely getting a Note 4. However having been blown away after playing with a 10.1 (or is it 10.5?) Tab S I'm tempted to get one.
If I was wealthy I wouldn't even be asking the question, but do those who own both find that they get sufficient use out of their tablets to make having both little more than a luxury? (Although this kind of premium device is inherently a luxury to a degree). I'm not really a big watcher of video on devices, but that may be partly down to never having had a device that motivated me use it in that way. (I find the S3 screen is a bit too small to make it enjoyable for me to watch video for long periods. BTW does the bigger screen of Note 4 lead to much of an improvement in that regard in reality?) |

I am a Note 4 user and don't really use the device for all the fancy features and the stylus.
I use my iPad several times a day, its how I consume information like news and current affairs, it keeps me organised and allows me to research pressing questions without leaving my seat. There is nothing wrong with the Note 4, it does what it says, just some of the more cumbersome tasks I prefer to use a larger screen. |

Thanks.
I use maps a LOT while walking and i assume that it would be a much better experience doing so on a Note 4. It would obviously be even better on a tablet - however the fact that I never see anyone doing this even on a 7" suggests there is some issue with this - maybe its too conspicuous in the sense of increasing the risk of theft? |

I have had a Note 4 for a couple of months and I find I'm using it significantly more than the ipad. The reason is simply because the phone is always with me and the tablet is sometimes in another room so I simply find it easier to do what I do on the Note.
It hasn't replaced the tablet altogether though as I still prefer to watch videos or movies more on the ipad whenever I have it around me. I do find the s pen a little gimmicky though. I thought I'd be using it a lot more than I am. At the moment I rarely use it if at all. I'm probably going to go back to an iPhone soon but that's only because I change phones a lot and nothing to do with the quality of the Note. |

I have a note 3 and I pretty much stopped using my tablet, the only time my Tab S got a serious workout was when I went away for two weeks and I loaded it with video. The Note is always with me and the screen is such a size that it is always comfortable to use.

I sold my ipad mini within a few weeks of getting my note 3. Just found I had very little use for it when the note 3 did everything well.
