There was a man in the audience on Saturday Night Takeaway who looked very like the actor who plays Tamwar. Im sure it was him or his twin brother! They kept panning in on him in the audience as well. Anyone else watch this and thought it may be him?

What nonsense.

The guy in the audience did look very similar Tamwar. This has nothing to do with race.

I wasn't accusing anyone of direct racism.

It certainly was coming across that way.

But anyway, for anyone who didn't see it I've added a screen cap of the doppelganger:

WTF?!?

Bollywood Movies = Indian

However, it still doesn't justify your statement.

I'm a British Indian myself and thought that was a wee bit bizarre

Definitely a close resemblance, but it's not him. This one is more goofy looking and has slender fingers, compared to Tambo!

Does Himesh wear glasses? The times I've seen him in interviews or on Back To Ours he looked quite different to Tamwar, much more casual?

I thought that statem et was a reference to Goodness Gracious Me when the character says everything was invented by Indians.

Hamish Patel is being asked about it on twitter but he doesn't seem to have answered either way. I think it is him.
