Quick question as quite fancy one and can't work out the best deal really. When looking on the operators websites if you want a free phone most of the deals seem to start at £41.

Now is that a good price or can you get it cheaper? For that ive been offered 2000mins 5000text and 2gb of data.

I think in my mind I'd like something around the £36 mark. Is that possible? The other option is buy the phone myself and then sim only it - if I do this is swampping to nano sim an easy process?

Sim swap on any network is pretty easy, if it's a real network you can normally just go instore and get it done (you can even just cut the sim down, plenty of templates and instructions online).

Buying the phone outright and having a SIM only plan works out better value for most people. I pay less than £10/month for my plan, so you can work out how much money that saves me over a year, which goes toward the cost of the phone.
