ACDC's biggest album is 35 years old this year. In fact, recording began 35 years ago this month.

It is the 2nd biggest selling album worldwide of all time, 2nd only to Thriller.

It was the beginning of the post Bon Scott era with Brian Johnson.

Let's all celebrate it's brilliance

Back In Black

Hells Bells

You Shook Me All Night Long

My Personal faves of this album are

Shoot To Thrill

Rock N Roll Ain't Noise Pollution

As well as the OP's links.

Thing is I love this album it does mark a turning point and the subsequent albums while great have had something missing. Unlike the early stuff that I play constantly. I like Brian Johnson but I think Bon just had something else.

I agree, for me their best album will always be Powerage.

In saying that, though, Back In Black is a great album. I saw AC/DCs first UK gig with Brian Johnson in Bristol

One of my favourite albums and has been since I bought it on first release when I was 14.

Definitely have to agree with that.

Although there have been good albums after back in black. It's often derided but I actually like Blow Up Your Video and I love the rawness of Flick of the Switch which I think is a grossly underrated album.

For some unknown reason, when I hear the opening bars of Shook Me I just laugh Perhaps its thinking about the video.

Bon was very tongue in cheek.

Yes, I know.

The second part was to the poster saying they liked Bon. Should have made that clearer.
