Does anybody know if/when Kathy returns to the Square?

How would you like her first episode in the Square to pan out? Should it be a two/three hander between Ian, Kathy & Phil?.

I am hoping that Gavin arrives but not with Kathy, I think Gavin should arrive a couple of weeks after Kathy returns as Kathy's Return needs to centre around her Sons and Phil.

Gavin should arrive and then reveal to Sharon that he his her Father.

Meh, I'm not bothered how she returns. I just hope DTC does it right.

That's why it's needs to be focused on Kathy and not Gavin.

Well she started filming in Jan then surely it won't too long before she is onscreen.

I would like Kathy and Gavin to return together. I want Ian and Ben to be cagey at first having been lied to for all this time! I think they'll be resentful of Gavin as Kathy has been with him and not her sons. When they find out Phil knew there will be an almighty showdown!

She's not back till summer.

that was only for the temporary return in the special. she's not back til later in the year.

I'm guessing it could be a slowburner with them letting out little details throughout the next few months.

Gillian has not started filming yet it seems and whoever is playing Gavin maybe kept hush hush until the 11th hour.

I thought DTC said when she filmed her scene at Christmas that she would be filming straight away or has that changed?

I don't think DTC said that? She has only filmed live scenes so far for that one ep.

Has it even been confirmed that she will return with her husband in tow...?

No its all heresay at the moment but for maximum impact and the fact that we know Sharon is searching for her real Father and the fact he was called Gavin I think he will arrive. I think Its going to be a big summer for Kathy, Ian, Phil and Sharon.

If its anything like DTC's other returnees it will be drawn out, with Shirley, Phil, Sharon, Ian etc getting mysterious phone calls, figures lurking in the shadows, etc..

When it does eventually happen near the end of 2016 Kathy will walk into the vic.

I don't understand how Kathy could let Ben live with Phil? Kathy would never fake her death but sadly she did. Like you, I hope there is a good explanation. DTC did say Kathy's return will be one of the most earth shattering storylines ever. But then again, DTC exaggerates his statements sometimes.

Kathy and Sharon are Iconic EastEnders characters so I think it is a big possibility.

Could this be the reason Kathy faked her death in the first place? Maybe Phil knows?

I think we will get a two hander between Ian and Kathy, there is far to much that needs to be talked over between them and a two hander like we got with Shazza and Den when he returned would be the best way to do it.

I can't wait for this all to play out! Incredibly happy to see our Kathy back, she's always been one of my favourites.

As said she only filmed for the one live episode on Febuary 20th.
