I would like to buy a Samsung Galaxy S6, but because of the fixed storage capacity I am not sure if I should get the 32GB or 64GB version.

I wouldn't be storing loads of music, videos etc long-term on the phone. I will be installing a few apps and a some music and taking the occasional photo or video.

I am just wondering if there will be enough space available for future Google Android updates on the phone, if I got the 32GB one.

Any advice?

Thanks in advance.

The Android OS uses 9GB so the 32GB version will give you 23GB of personal storage. The 64GB version will give you 55GB.

Like Mr.Goes said 23GB of storage. It's still a lot but you've got to keep some factors in mind, I bet that 16MP camera will use a fair bit of storage per photo for example. Samsung software updates are around a gig off the top of my head so if you think you'll only use 22GB then you'll be fine. The problem I found on my 16GB iPad (It's kinda similar) was that my needs changed and I suddenly wanted to start putting stuff onto it but I couldn't.

As well as that if you like to sell your phone after a while then 64gb may increase the resale value slightly.

TLDR; If you think you're needs won't change then it'll probably be ok, if not then 64gb may be a better bet.
