Saw that o2 have approved it and suggest it might roll next week. Not sure about the other carriers.
Sounds like the first release did not get approved by uk telcos so Sony had to make changes... |

Got it on my Z3 today. No big deal as far as I can see.

Really not too keen on it sadly - it looks a bit 'cheap'. And yes, I too am disappointed it doesn't have an option to wake the screen on notification. Sure I'll get used to it.

Quite like it, seems a bit quicker, can now move stuff to SD card, etc, all seems to be working good (NC headphones too, which apparently had a bug in earlier builds).
And IPlayer finally works properly, hurrah !8-) |

If you're on an unlocked (sim free) Z2 or Z3 (I think) phone, and have a 3 sim in it, tethering may not work on lollipop. This is due to the way they are setting up APNs to detect tethering traffic, except unlocked phones didn't receive this APN, so tethering doesn't work at all!
It's a bit fiddly, but if you know what you're doing, you can get round it... Tethering didn't work on my Z2 on lollipop, I did this method, and it works fine now, and doesn't seem to be detected by Three, as the limit on My3 is not going down...

I have to say I quite like Lollipop, definite UI improvement although I thought Kit Kat on my Z3 looked OK too.
As regards tethering, it's not something I have the remotest interest in doing, wouldn't even know how to start, so not an issue. Android goes from strength to strength hence my move from an iOS tablet to Android as well.
