TV trumps comic books, and SJA says Ace is alive.

Has the scope to bring Leela back ever been debated? I mean, is anyone calling for it? Suppose then the answer would be no.

If Gallifrey is still out there, and hasn't been destroyed, then I suppose it's possible that Leela could be seen. Although in saying that, Leela could have died sometime during The Time War.

If Leela does come back, then Romana could also. I haven't read them, but apparently, in one Eighth Doctor novel, she is on Gallifrey posing as Lady President Romana, dressed in robes with the head gear.

I had no idea that they killed Ace off in the Comic Strips. It would certainly explain why the Seventh Doctor was on his own in the first twenty minutes of the TV Movie.

SJA also said that Barbara Wright is still alive, married to Ian, even though Jacqueline Hill died over twenty years ago.
