Yeah, it was a huge shock to my body really, hence the feeling so out of it for the few days afterwards. The first night after it I couldn't do anything, the most I managed was getting to the loo before falling back into bed.
Oh no that was the point of it; for weight loss. Long story short in the last few years various medical problems had caused me to pile on weight rapidly, and nothing I could do would shift it. My doctor and I tried
everything and in the end it came down to either just accepting it or having one of three gastric procedures; band, sleeve or bypass. Sleeve was the one that made the most sense and had the least drawbacks.
