Simon likes to shock and create drama and I can just imagine him luring Kate Thornton back to make 'amends' for what happened after season 3 and give her a dramatic, glamorous, return to the show! Simon will be like "We wanted to take the show back to its roots and that was definitely by bringing back our much loved original host kate. I always regret the way I handled her departure but this way she gets to return on a bigger and better show"

Probably won't happen but I bet simon has thought about it. Laugh if it came true lol.
