I'm sorry but Fizzzz is awful. Whiny simpering voice talking down to everybody. She totally ruined the Kirsty and Tyrone abuse plot with her interfering. Fiz and Tyrone are the second most boring couple on the street (after Chesney and Sinead) and certainly no Jack and Vera. And the actress is appalling as she showed in the live birth scenes which I am still scarred from.

I love Fiz but I haven't missed her, eva or kylie. I doubt i will miss Maria when she goes off on maternity leave.

Ty and F.I.Z will not be the next jack and vera on the premise that she is a nosy gob shite there has been more than enough of those female characters that you could say "ee she's just like vera!"...there was judy mallet and her husband (who I need to google) who could ve been the next duckworths ...I'd rather see tim and sally slip into the slippers of jack n vera than fizz bomb and Tyrone

Thing I don't get with Fiz is Jenny McAlpine is actually a really attractive girl with a relatively normal speaking voice!! Why on earth do they go out of their way to make the character of Fiz so bloody unappealing both to look at & listen to??

The testament of a truly good character is you is missing them and looking forward to them returning to the show. I remember waiting anxiously for Alison King and Jane Dan son's returns after their respective maternity leaves, because the actresses are that good. I also miss Catherine Tyldesley and Paula Lane for that very reason. Jennie McAlpine however has had her day.

In relation to Fizz and Ty my biggest problem is that they became a couple and then they lacked to define the relationship on screen. There were hardly any character driven scenes to establish them as a couple in the way they did beautifully with Sally and Tim. Ditto Leanne and Kal. No sense of them as a couple at all.

It's been a bit refreshing to see Tyrone without dumbo Fizzy-Wizzy at his side IMO. I'm putting it down to bad writing as I'm sure I used to like her years ago.

I like Fiz but I don't miss her. I've only really missed three Corrie characters when they've been missing from the show- Ken, Kevin and Kylie. The sooner Kylie returns the better IMO.

Couldn't agree more, sounds diabolical!! Looks like Luke & Maria aren't going to get back together if he's getting in to that sort of scrape with Tyrone!!
