After the girl got swung round by her head, it cut back to Amanda saying how fantastic the act was even though Simons buzzer was pressed. He didn't press it during that act.

I notice it constantly, even when Simon is speaking.

Throughout the who show you could hear cheering but when the camera was focused on the judges, you could see that nobody was actually cheering.

Who cares? Honestly either enjoy it for what it is or don't bother watching. It really is that simple.

What about the laughing track and that? We hear all this cheering but then the camera goes to the judges and all you can see is the audience sitting there still, mouths not even moving.

It's always been edited the same way. Just enjoy it for what it is.

Because you are in a forum section called "TV Shows: REALITY".

We therefore expect a certain amount of REALITY in the show and not a completely false and fake representation of what happened.

Well unfortunately or not so called reality shows are not actually reality. It is what it is like it or loathe it. I guess money talks more than integrity now for TV?

And here you are moaning at someone giving their opinion on the crap editing of the show. I think it's you that doesn't understand.

Out of interest do you think there is any so called reality show that is not edited and is really so called warts and all? This might be off topic so don't worry if don't reply .

I'm not moaning. I see these shows for what they are crap editing or not. I don't look for the 'mistakes'. I choose to watch them because I enjoy them. I just don't understand people that watch week after week and do actually moan about them. Why watch them ? You know it's going to be the same every year.

It's more of a premeditated effort to mislead rather then a mistake. Editing isn't the problem here, lying to the audience is what we're complaining about. It doesn't mean we don't enjoy the show. I enjoy the talent. The manipulation however not so much

Why on earth do folk watch a show they dislike so much and then round on you for stating the obvious?

I thought tonight's show was great.

But manipulation isn't new. It's always been done and always will be no?

Last year there was a part where Simon's top changed from a blank shirt to a grey t-shirt back to a black shirt in the space of 10 seconds.

Hi DD. I enjoyed tonights show too. I think the format is just right. Much better than the voice and X factor in my opinion. Xx

I missed most of last year's shows so particularly enjoyed tonight.
Will watch the ITV2 version tomorrow and will f/f if/when required and I won't be coming on here to have a moan.

Most of the show is fake. When I was there in-between acts they recorded us doing a standing ovation, aww face and a shocked face. Basically they could show my reaction at an audition that I was not at.

The backstage bits are a mix of improvisation/scripted.
