How many skincare products is one woman supposed to use?

Hi, this probably seems like a strange thing to ask but how do I discover which order I should use all my skincare products in?? Do all the anti wrinkle and line filling products, dark circles corrector and eye creams go under the moisturisers or on top? I use a pretty much complete range of Avon Anew products and I'm confused. Can any clever people help me, please?!!

I'm not a professional, but I'll give you my view.

Cleanse
Tone
Eye cream
Serum/oil
I view moisturiser as protection, the bit that seals everything in, so that always goes last for me.

I think scientifically, there are rules around the order you should use certain products due to molecule sizes - but I do the order above as that works for me.

edited to add - I also use a moisturing spritze and do it after my eyecream. You can never have too many layers in my view!!

I use different products depending on how my skin is feeling and time of the year.

If my skin feels awful, I use Elemis Papaya Enzyme Peel followed by the different Elemis masks I own. They make a difference. My sister thought I was potty paying so much, however she changed her kind when she noticed her skin felt better.

I use the Marine creams, day and night. I also use the Elemis Elemis Cellular Recovery Skin Bliss Capsules but I don't use them as you're supposed to. It's too much oil in two pods to slather all over my face twice a day for an entire month!. I use them to reduce scars and moisturise dry areas and I dot it around my eyes. I also use the Eye serum, it's ok. I get bored of the different products. I have others silicone based ones, such as Benefit Porefessional Primer and a clarins Touche Eclat. I use those if I want a more flawless finish when using foundation. I put them on before applying foundation as it smears it otherwise and looks awful.

I've never used toner as it's usually too harsh for my skin and strips it dry. I used to use it as a teenager and early 20's.

Anti-wrinkle creams don't really work too well. I have a NO 7 serum, it's feels nice on the skin. I was given Yves Saint Laurent Forever Youth Liberator Serum, it's ok, feels tacky but doesn't seem to do much and for the price I'd expect more.

If you drive a lot and have to squint I'd recommend proper sunglasses which have polarised shades as prevention is better than cure when it comes to dark circles and wrinkles.

I've never known dark circle serums to work. I've bought a few as I live in hope but nothing. Hope they work for you.

ps I don't think it really matter what order as long as it works for you. Most days I can't be bothered using anything other than simple moisturiser!
