Who would want to wear some of the shock horror clothes that soap actors wear! Lauren's gingerbread man coat with the frills round the collar and down the front is enough to give me nightmares. Ditto Chas and Val, all in Emmerdale.
Eva's "101 Dalmations" outfit, coat AND hat were a complete eyesore in Corrie, as is Liz's zig zag necklace.
I hate to admit it,. but I once had not one but two t shirts with the shoulders cut out like the one Liz used to wear, I had a white one and a blue one but they had short sleeves. Long ago consigned to the rag bag for wiping muddy boots after walking the dog, thank goodness.
In Only fools and Horses, Del had the same wallpaper in a bamboo design in black and white, that we have back in 1962. Used me make me laugh everytime I saw it.

A few years ago Peter Barlow wore a "Hacienda" t shirt and my hubby loved it. I tracked it down online and now he wears it every week. 😆
The majority of clothes Johnny Carter from Eastenders wore were from River Island. I work there and recognised a different piece of clothing during every episode!
Someone wore the exact jacket I have in the 2013 big dance but that was an extra :P

Right, yes i get you.
I misunderstood and thought you meant that they couldn't use anything where a viewer could recognise what brand it was through familiarity (ie owning the same top and knowing where it was bought) rather than then actually showing labels on screen.
Oddly enough i used to work in PR and would bill clients (Kelloggs was one) for their product placement in Brookside. Quite interesting.
Years ago I had a lot of clothes the same as Stacey all from New Look. Have't noticed any of my clothes lately but have saw on both Corrie and EE things like cushions, mugs, toaster, kettle all that kind of stuff.
I remember Sophie Webster wearing the same dress as me back when I was a teen... but I wouldn't say there was anyone who has the same style as me specifically

On an even glummer note, I bought some wallpaper last year. That wallpaper now features in the Mitchell hallway and frankly looks awful. My wall is still bare as I've refused to put my wallpaper up. I'm paying close attention to the décor in both Eastenders and Coronation Street so that I don't make that mistake again. Rolls of wallpaper anyone.....

Tyrone has a blue, red and white shirt that resembles the Union Jack. I also have that shirt (think I got it in Next).

Dean Wicks wear a lot of All Saints clothes, I have several of the jumpers her wears as well as the same leather jacket.
I had an M&S top Tracey in EE was wearing during a silent shift at the Vic. Their stuff seems to be a few seasons old.

I once owned a zip up sweatshirty type of top from Next which I quite liked. Quite liked until I tuned in to see Fiz from CS sporting it 
Lee Carter, unintentionally. I bought a few tartan shirts from Primark and a few days later Lee had the exact same ones!
