Surely the Vandross song will have the less points?

Have they always had a singer at the end of Pointless?

The earlier rounds maybe, but the final was typical Pointless fare, actors in films is their staple.

Clara just knew her films. Well done them.

Thanks

I haven't seen it for while and was slightly confused (like the first time I saw 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown)

Two questions for the guru watchers. Has there been a fourth question in the head-to-head, i.e. both couples had wrong answers, and what was the highest jackpot?

Yes there has been a fourth question quite a few times. The highest prize money was £20,250.

Off the top of my head, on the first question yes, a fair few times, have had them in all the rounds, in fact, when people just don't know an answer, they just do another q.

Not sure on the second one.

I only started watching it from the previous series. Richard mentioned a jackpot of something like 16 thousand at one point but I just thought he was joking like he does with Alexander. 20 grand is a lot of shows to have no winners, unless loads of contestants had been increasing the jackpot with pointless answers.

In the previous incarnation, they didn't have 3 choices in the final question. So for instance for today they would have just had one of the actors films up. Also I think there were only 3 choices of subjects once-upon-a-time.

So it was definitely harder to win, many people used to complain about that, hence why the change I guess.

I liked it with less winners, but it was poor final rounds at times when no-one knew any answers at all.

^ I can't remember how many people it was, but there were some people who couldn't work out that Londinium is the Latin name for London.
