John Adams was my answer too. I thought The Mystery of Edwin Drood at first, then wondered if it would have been accepted due to being unfinished (and therefore not published) when Dickens died. As it happens, it was the easiest one, since I don't remember the chronology of the other works.

(The question was the last three published works by Charles Dickens.)
