OMG. I actually had 3 pointless answers in the final with Verne Troyer, Warwick Davis and Leslie Phillips.

Think that's the closest to tears i've ever seen someone on this show. She looked gutted. Poor woman.

Edit: Ah the answer would have still knocked them out so that makes it a bit better.

Truly madly deeply?

Sense and Sensibility.

I think this must be a repeat, no one's here.

She did look distraught didn't she - poor woman.

Not really! - ha! I though it was hilarious! At least Richard made her feel a bit better by telling her she couldn't have won anyway

Yes, we're in a sea of repeats. I vaguely remember some of the incidents but none of the great pointless answers...

The one from last night where she went for the easiest question on the board and then got it spectacularly wrong was funny. Totally misunderstanding the question..when she said 29 I'm sure the audience made an audible gasp.

It is a small consolation when they wouldn't have got through anyway even with a correct answer.

This has to be the most stupid group of people on any gameshow EVER. Especially that idiot Solomon from the Apprentice. Is he really this stupid or putting it on.

I think I could last about 6 seconds in Jamie's company before feeling compelled to stuff a lemon in his gob.

They really are a stupid bunch. Any dimwit can be a ‘celebrity’, whatever that means?
Who is the fellah with the monotonous posh voice and the terrible fake-bake? On close-up you can see where it isn’t blended properly.

Do you mean Jamie Laing from Made in Chelsea?

Agreed about the worst show ever. I won't call them celebrities as IMO reality show stars shouldn't be classed as such.

Thanks, AFT, I just googled the name and it is Jamie Laing. I’ve never watched Made In Chelsea.

Soloman is a complete buffoon

At least the pair from the jungle were successful sportsmen in their own right before they appeared in that dross.

I enjoy watching Pointless but that has got to be the WORST edition I have ever seen! The zelebs didn't have a clue what they were doing!

I thought it was the worst/best Celeb episode I've seen.

Haven't laughed quite so much at Pointless before - very entertaining.

He could not even find the door to go out What a complete idiot and his partner was just as bad.

I do wonder what they teach students at Eton or wherever it is the Chelsea bunch go to school/college. Shows money does not make brains

Ruth Badger was one of the more intelligent ones there.

Do you mean that in the sense that she wasn't very intelligent at all either … ? The only people I knew of were Carl Fogarty, from Superbikes, and I'd heard of Craig who'd won BB, so I had no knowledge of their TV personas. is Ruth supposed to be intelligent, (because she didn't seem to know very much or grasp the premise of the quiz)?

Just watched it. Oh dear!

I'm just surprised Alexander didn't have to explain to the 'celebrities' what an anagram was.

A terrible bunch of celebs (and I use the word celeb in the kindest way possible).

Liam Neilson ?? and no-one knew which country ABBA were from?

Alex and Richard were concerned when anagrams came along but somehow the contestants managed. It might have been more appropriate to have a word with one letter removed... ALLI-ATOR for example.

Oh, and 'mark' and 'lark' for the word round? Pitiful.

That lot, and the previous weeks contestants really were "pointless" celebrities.

I appreciate that my knowledge of celebrities these days as about as broad as Saturday's teams knowledge of words ending in "ark" but the show really is living up to it's title in this latest series.

Everything is relative, especially on so-called celebrity quizzes

She is a very successful business woman, so there must be something up there.

Of course, no one could match Chelsee Healey, if you saw that edition.

From Wikipedia:
Quote:
“Healey currently holds the record for being the least able contestant to appear on Pointless, giving incorrect answers to all four of her questions, including thinking that the Olympic host city that is an anagram of "Gin Jibe" was Belgium.”
