This says it all about Twitter users. Shame Twitter can't be shut down, it's a curse.”

No, Twitter is a microcosm of the Internet. People use if for ill as well as good. Doesn't mean that bad / stupid should prevail and that it should be closed down.

I also asked Richard on Twitter and was ignored. Might stop following him if he is going to be rude to people.

It was mine too, I don't see what's racist about it at all. It seemed like the obvious but obscure enough answer to me and was around the right time frame.

I said Cornershop too! As the song Brimful of Asha was originally released in 1997 (the year stated in the question) and was a big number 1 single in early 98....I remember it being at number 1 and being played in the club I was going to around that time...we even did a dance routine involving the lyrics 'a bosom for a pillow' with the girls we were with

I've always considered the group and song as a well known one hit wonder (similar to Chesney Hawkes but not as well known)

I imagine that Cornershop was the highest answer given for the 100 people asked as the Spice Girls total was just 13.

Unbelevable outrage, the world can be ridiculous sometimes.

After a bit of on off searching on the net over the weekend I found the following about the missing episodes.

Quote:
“"Thanks for contacting us regarding 'Pointless' on the 28 April.

We realise that late schedule changes are annoying to our audience and we honestly try to keep changes to the schedule to a minimum. Sometimes we may have to drop programmes due to sensitivity with regards to recent events in the news.

Out of respect, the decision was made to postpone episodes 21 to 24 as these episodes contained questions and quotes about Victoria Wood. We thought it would be best not to feature these episodes at this time and these episodes will now run on 18th, 19th, 20th and 23rd May.

Thank you for contacting us and for your interest in the programme.

Kind Regards
