According to IMDB, Jeffrey Hunter was only in one episode of Star Trek, not the three episodes that the question called for.
He was in "The Menagerie" which was a double episode, and I'm sure clips from that were shown in another episode, but can't quite remember which one.

Anyway, I had Grace Lee Whitney (Yeoman Rand) as a pointless. Also shocked that Scotty was pointless.

Liberace playing the flute, there's a delicious irony there. 😄

Or, as Peter Cook, might say: "The pink oboe."

I was shocked by how little the two actresses knew about actors.

She thought Joey Essex was knighted in the Queens honours list.

Her partner thinks Pippa Middleton was honoured by the Queen. For services to party planning.

Eddie Redmayne will be thrilled to hear someone thinks he looks like Joey Essex twin.

Plus, the last contestant in the famous battles round didn't know that W for "the battle at which Napoleon was defeated " was Waterloo. (Obviously not an ABBA fan).

What really staggered me was that 52 out of the 100 asked didn't know the name of the battle in 1066 that started with H.

Where do they find these people?

In the queue for the Jeremy Kyle show.

Exactly, yet 98/100 people knew the film A fish called Wanda. I sometimes wonder about these polls.

Do they not have any open rounds anymore (apart from the last round)?

The irony was that when she was axed from "Strictly" there was a lot about how older women get a rough deal on TV and I supported her. Now after watching "Pointless", I can't stand her (although I would vote Sandie Shaw the most annoying player ever on Pointless Celebrities.)

It's not just that they were a bit dense - history isn't taught properly as it used to be years ago. We had to really learn dates of battles, and Kings and Queens throughout the centuries etc. Now it's all 20th century events such as WWI and social changes - if it's bothered to be taught at all.

We were never taught anything in 20th Century.

My knowledge is based on my own interest in the subject of history

It wasn't even in the second half of the alphabet (whichever way you look at it) let alone a chemical element. Bizarre.

I think she thought she was being funny, which she wasn't, in the slightest. Even Quinine, the answer that unbelievably let her through into the next round, wasn't quite as bad.

Sport in Leeds came up as a final category in Saturday's Celebrity show when it had already been answered a day or two earlier in the normal show!

Coming to America was an answer in the Picture question in last week's Celebrity edition and was also an answer in the Picture question in one of last week's shows.

Not very good planning / scheduling!
