At the end, after the credits, it said "in memory of Lucy Booth 1978-2016" and a picture of her. I googled the rest

It could be worse. As he (and Osman) are Oxbridge they could look down on anyone who went to a "lesser" university.
That would be considered a step too far by the BBC, maybe the BBC has a be nice to educated types policy.
