I was offered a number of audition slots over a two day period next week - but I'll be on holiday so I had to decline.

Oh really? Shame. I'm sure you can try again.

Ah nice one. Got sent an application for that but didn't send it off

Nice to see the tribute to Lucy at the end again. Such a beautiful looking lady

I'm glad these two won -the blonde scouser really pulled it out of the bag at crucial moments several times. He was also rather dishy

The dark haired guy was but blonde Johnny sounded scouse to me.
Perhaps his formative years were in Liverpool?

I could be mistaken.

At the end, after the credits, it said "in memory of Lucy Booth 1978-2016" and a picture of her. I googled the rest
Her and her mum were very unlucky to make the head to head twice but not the final. She seemed a lovely lady, and I'm sure mum will enjoy the memories of them being on the show together.

I came in on the end credits and the memoriam photo of Lucy Booth - same age as my own daughter - so I had to find out who she was.

I watched the introductions at the beginning on iPlayer and saw that there was a mother and daughter duo featuring a Lucy, but she didn't look anything like the picture they posted at the end.

Today I Googled it (there are loads of links) and discovered the sad story about Lucy battling breast cancer and, due to the kind hearted production bosses and the BBC, being able to see a copy the programme shortly before she died.

RIP Lucy .. sadly you won't be the last young lady to lose your battle in this way.

She did look quite different in the photo but apparently she had been battling cancer on and off for four years. She still looked good on the show but I think the picture they used was probably taken in healthier times.

I know it's a matter of ideology, but I do think the 21st century started on 1 January, 2001. 1 to 100, 101 to 200, ... 1901 to 2000, 2001 to 2100.
