Well, we don't know who his daughter is, or what she's called, because he introduced the girl with him as a family friend.
Apart from Richard's, is there only one chair on the Pointless set? In the first round Rula was sitting down and LJ was standing, in the second, after Rula had been eliminated , LJ was sitting down!

I know you're joking but... I think Rula was standing during the first round on Wednesday, then sitting. LJ had back problems, so probably needed to sit down for later rounds.
Recordings are pretty long and arduous with all the breaks while sets are adjusted and cameras moved around etc. (I've not been to a Pointless recording, but I assume it's no different to any other quiz show.)

Precisely. I don't want to seem crass, but it seemed like she has learning difficulties, certainly not the full ticket. Why on earth go on a quiz show in that case?
