No, I think he meant they met at Cambridge in the Footlights.
He did. And if we're being correctional, it was That Mitchell and Web Situation, that preceded Peep Show. Look came 6 years after series 1 of Peep Show.

Which is why I said "and other sketch shows."

Which is why it's difficult. Which of those small islands are actually countries under Pointless rules, one must wonder as you're stood there under the lights with the audience glaring at you.
The Solomon Islands or the Marshall Islands are always good for a low score.

Now, now. Disingenuousness will get you nowhere on this thread. It is inhabited, as it should be, by the kind of pedants who make ordinary pedants look like woolly-minded grasshopper brains and worship at the feet of the imperious Victoria chanting the scripture "I need something specific" seven times a day. You said ...

Mitchell and Webb had already done "That Mitchell and Webb Look" before Peep Show
They had not for such a programme did not exist until 2006. I did not in any way dispute that they had done other sketch shows and indeed named the very beast.

Got two pointless in the Jackpot round with Lisa Marie and The Fugees. Yugoslavia was my third answer, I had Bulgaria in mind but didn't go with it.

Alright, you win. I shall now refer to you as King Pedant.

I'm confused - how was Ulysses S. Grant a correct answer?

EDIT: Never mind, I thought the question meant their whole name.

I think it's just the surname that counts.

The letter 'u' discounts it.
